  1. Ya would make it one day. And I think we could maybe tape it, we will see. All options are open at this point.
  2. Options are open let me know what you think ? I could maybe tape it however that would add a exp. An intro would be a good idea and post it on here when the time is right. I'm sure we will get alot of local skiers but more is better!
  3. Not a bad idea. I'm thinking I would start with something local see how it goes then something like that would be great when is it?
  4. Ya I fig if I made it cheap enough maybe I would get a few to drive or fly in. But totally understand. Just putting stuff together now and have to space and ski pro on board. So we will see!
  5. So I'm thinking of putting on a Course this winter at a local pro ski shop here in Mi. It would be in the Waterford Area. This would be cutting edge stuff with emphasis on the active slalom skier. So I guess I'm asking would there be interest from the ballers on here? PS if your 1st thought is what makes you qualified to do this? Well I might be just a amatuer baller but I know the human body , biomechanics and how it relates to our sport. I'm just trying to get an idea of interest. I don't know on price yet but will make it as reasonable as possible trying to teach others the RIGHT things they should be doing to get stronger for sking. I have a ; Doctor in Physical Therapy Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist In the process of taking my Resistance Training Specialist
  6. Great Job ! Can't wait to get on one in the spring , since my season is over here. Thanks
  7. Got ya , but adding foam will not get you "more strengthening"
  8. I think you would get more out of the Hip IR if you could get rid of the balance board and just use the Hip. Using the balance board for the average per will involve to much on ankle stability , and core then your hip. I think the HIP IR strengthen along with glut activation is the most important aspects of a stack position.
  9. I understand that I'm just asking if you think you are getting increase IR mm activation with balance bad, ie is that your goal or is it try to get everything working at one time (erectors , TVA, Abds) ? Just picking your brain , I guess I have a little different thought process. When you put some one on a unstable surface unless they are a dancer they have to worry more about balancing then the movement at hand. So I guess What I'm asking are you trying to get the IR's activated / stronger or work on something else?
  10. Great ex, have done loaded hip rot before but confused on how dynamic / balance board can lead to increase mm firing ?
  11. A little late into 5, but still a kool pic!
  12. PS all those mult movement ex sound like fun however the human body is a remarkable thing ! it is great at compensating, ie the strong muscles stay strong and the weak don't change! Crossfit and powerlifting movements are great if you are in killer shape, perfect form and know what you are trying to work.
  13. Could be a labrum tear. But as long as it is doing better I would just keep resting it with ice and NSAID ( motrin) , and maybe get some PT on it , could take away to heal up.
  14. Great to see everyone getting into getting stronger to ski better. If I can offer any help I will. I own a physical therapy clinic and love to train skiers. Hit me up or come see me if you live in MI matt@clarkstoncorept.com
  15. I HAVE SOME VIDEO AT 34 at 15 off not 22 . I have a ski doc and try to learn from it. How do i post it?
  16. Ok I will explain my problems right now as best as I can. I feel great on my on side ( LFF) have a great turn good hook up and turn to ball . plenty early for 2 and 4 however feel no matter how early are start my turn I feel like the turn is just not there . more slack I have to pull in and not as good of a angle coming of the turn to get wide. I think the strada i have is quick i just dont think my off side turn is great and or the deceleration to set up the turn. I dont know if that will help at all. Thanks
  17. Thanks Jody , ya maybe the orange strada would also be a good move. Any one think the connelly is worth a shot over the strada ?
  18. Thanks guys , so never been a fan of the goodes that I have riden but maybe a new one would be a diff story. I should have stated yes always working on forum and improving but I fig that in 4 years the tec in the newer skies would give you an advantage.
  19. I have been on A Radar Strada ( 2010/ Silver) for last 2-3 years I have made great progress with it. My PB this summer was 4 1/2 at 22 off , 34 mph . I have been working on my off side turn and turn to 1st wake. I'm looking for something to give me a little more speed and width. I was thinking at 1st no brainer just stick with Radar and get the vapor. After I was doing some reading now looking at the prophecy. Thinking of getting a 13 on ski it again , or maybe hold out for a 14 . Any insight on the 14? ( might beable to get from a ski buddy who knows a person that works for connelly at cost) Was also maybe looking at the Quest (1 3) I would rather buy a slightly used ski it - again and ride it and see if I like it. I'm on Fluid motions quattros (double) now. Was thinking of changing these also because cant really easy adjust binding forward. I'm looking at either the new FM E doubles or the reflex doubles or even try the Reflex with there RTP like boot ( might help keep me on my front foot more. Sorry for going on and on. And I know ski and bindings are a per feelings but trying to get some insight. Demo would be best I know but don't have the cash for new prices so thinking of just going ski it again for everything this winter. Thanks
  20. I also need some help with a new ski. I have the itch to get a new ski. I'm on a Radar Strada ( silver 2010) right now. I made great progress with ski , just looking for a little more I guess. I was thinking either Vapor , Prophecy, quest. I'm leaning toward a prophecy. Was thinking either get a 13 on ski it again or get a 14 ???
