  1. Anyone looking for a well used Radar front left foot size 11 https://www.kijiji.ca/v-water-sport/markham-york-region/radar-water-ski-boot/1451506294?utm_campaign=socialbuttons&utm_content=app_ios&utm_medium=social&utm_source=ios_social
  2. @MuskokaKy kinda funny on Kijiji I added it to my favourites yesterday when I saw it and I just got notice it’s due to expire today, they must have it posted for 24 hours, listing said it was only 10 hours old when I saw it.
  3. @MuskokaKy did they reply to you?
  4. I don’t know if this is a typo but says the engine runs, looks to be in very rough condition and has transmission problems but it has to be a steal at $500 Canadian! That’s about $380 US https://www.kijiji.ca/v-powerboat-motorboat/belleville/ski-nautique/1449831081?utm_campaign=socialbuttons&utm_content=app_ios&utm_medium=social&utm_source=ios_social
  5. Same up here in eastern Ontario. It’s been very windy and cool through May and June, hoping now that’s it’s officially summer that changes!
  6. @sodbuster88 no sorry I did not, it’s displayed up right at the corner of the Mastercraft display can’t really get a good look at it.
  7. Toronto boat show - 2 Ski Nautiques and a ProStar. No Malibu Response
  8. Even sales and marking you’re going to be dealing with issues with people want to use there boats.
  9. I agree with the above statement, I went into post secondary education thinking that is exactly what I wanted to do, but after working one summer I thought no way! You are just helping other people enjoy time on the water and spending much less of your time doing it. Best thing is to find something that allows you the flexibility to spend time out on the water and of course the income to do so!
  10. “I'll figure it out. Just give me the skis. sorry. I forgot. You're a professional skier. You don't need any notes.” An actual quote about water skiing from the classic The Great Outdoors stariing John Candy.
  11. Vader: “Obi Wan never told you what happened to your driver” Luke: “He told me enough, he told me you killed him!” Vader: “No. I am your driver!”
  12. I ski with a buddy who is a car guy and he has always quoted the “Fast and Furious” line “I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time, for those 10 seconds or less I am free” I have adapted it for skiing and say “I live my life 6 bouys at a time for those 16.95 seconds I’m free” just wondering if anyone else has any movie related quotes for skiing.
  13. Finding a good physio therapist helps as well. I had the same issue two years ago finally went to physio and it’s much better.
  14. I had this happen to my 1997 196 as well, it was the intake at the bottom of the fuel tank had become clogged. The boat would run fine at 20-22 mph but once it was over 30 mph it would cut out and lose power.
  15. Many years ago we moved one that sat on top of two floating docks. Was done on a day with no wind at all. We started to tow with a boat but quickly discovered they even just in gear the flat front of the docks was going to submarine and we risked the lift going to the bottom so my dad and uncle ended up just walking it along in waist deep water. We had to move it over 2 km (over a mile) but it worked, just took awhile!
  16. @Brady it’s around there! Santa’s sleigh tracks really well through the course!
  17. Nope it’s not a river, it’s a relatively small lake. Ice went out about a week ago.
  18. It’s about 180 km east of Toronto
  19. Yeah has been open for about a week. Haha we are likely much further south than you are in MN! It does look like a daunting task to get the lift back upright and then get an idea of any damage that is done.
  20. So way up here in Canada we’re supposed to be looking forward to some slightly warmer weather this time of year! Most years I can hope to get out skiing for a set at the end of April or early May, well today we had a serious ice storm with high wind which split a tree that ended up on our boat lift!! I guess the silver lining is that the boat was not sitting in it!
  21. I agree with a lot of the above comments while it is sad to see the mag go after I believe almost 40 years, it has been lacking in content the last 6-10 issues. I did still enjoy finding it in the mailbox especially in these long cold Canadian winters!!
  22. Second the rash guard! Even in really warm weather it does help, I find it also helps your arms not to "stick" to the vest.
  23. Yep I second using copper tube we had the plastic one get caught this fall and had to have the tranny pulled and disassembled to remove it. So proceed with caution if using a plastic tube.
  24. First set of the year a friend had a mouse crawl out of his binding and off the back the platform. Not sure if the mouse made it to shore!
