  1. Nope tickets are "Sold Out" best bet is to contact Water Ski Canada and see about tickets for the boat they have rented. I did yesterday and had a great time, only about 30 people on the boat, not a bad view, you can hear the announcers, overall a great day.
  2. Yes understand it was saved by some retired skiers because for the event today there might have been 30 people on a three level boat! Not going to make the money back that way. No cant access Ontario place anymore which is too bad could have had a good sight line from there!! The view from the boat was good but it was really rough in Lake Ontario
  3. The site is just on the west side of Ontario place. It was quite windy got the women as well but very windy for the men. We were on a boat that was rented by water ski Canada if you are in the are for the next few days I believe the have tickets for the boat.
  4. I think my course might be at the point of no return; I was able to fix the original break in the main line but have since found two breaks in the V sections of different boat guides: I have tried do the same as the mainline using crimps to put to back but with wave action and current it becomes increasingly difficult to put back on the arm. I am thinking of taking the line right out and seeing if I can repair it on shore.
  5. I had a guy swim out to my course a few summers ago, he had never skied but thought it looked really cool. After

He got to the boat I could tell he had been enjoying a number of beverages and was in no shape to learn how to ski, not to mention I only had my ski in the boat. I told him since it was getting dark we would come back in the morning with two skis that would fit and be happy to teach him.

Went back down in the AM, talked to someone else they said he was still passed out and not likely to be up anytime soon! It was about 10 am after I had skied a few times. I gave myself A for effort for at least going back!

  6. I went to view a 2004 Nautique 206 that is up for auction tomorrow. The boat looks to be in almost perfect condition, has only 57 hours. One big kicker is the trailer it is being sold with is only rated for 1800 lb, the 206 is in the range of 2800 lb I believe. So just throwing it out there, how dangerous is this boat on that trailer? I would not be doing much towing, a few miles a year from boat house to launch and that is all, or would this be a new trailer. It's a shore lander trailer. Also wonder that direct drive boat would be that small?
