  1. I'm in Orlando this week skiing and taking a few demo sets on the Whisper fin. Awesome, is the word that sums up my experience with it! Setup - 2019 Senate Pro 69 with Denali CG fin LFF. I agree with the experience @skibug described. My ski has never felt so good on the water. CG or Whisper ... Whisper all the way going forward! It made my ski feel free and light on the water, solid and tracked wonderfully. Acceleration was amazing along with an ability to make space at the buoy. CG - was an improvement over my stock fin but I sold it today and saved it from life as a wall hanger. Big thanks to Jay for creating an inovative fin that will change the sport.
  2. It seems to me by fixing your boot in a forward position your focusing stress on the release. Perhaps, there is a better way to move your COM forward that alows for more balanced pressure on the front binding.

    New fin?

    Shipping in about 4 weeks
  4. I skied the new rope with Matt Rini in October. Being 245lb, he was intrested in how the rope felt to me. It skied great felt solid but soft. perhaps i cloud say it feels like a brenda rope with out the spongy stretch. But I'm not a fan the slip loop style. so I hope they make it loop contruction like the pro rope for my next purchase
  5. I'd be up for an update always like to learn more.
  6. I'm at 32 using Goodie hardshel on my 69 Senate Pro. When I tried moving more forward the ski shut down to fast. Still felt good. I may try again later but I'm happy for now :)

    SN Trailer

If your leaning to a new trailer look at https://www.ryantrailers.com/ . Greg builds a great trailer and was the supplier in the NW for years so he likely has the templates for your boat.
  8. I'm fine with sharing my numbers. I've taken a few rides on it with limited rest and sleep. Still I'm with in a buoy of my PB. So, I'm looking froward to a set when I have had some rest. I agree with @Mateo_Vargas offside is great and I'm finding that I have more space than I ever got with my 17 Senate. I do think that the NFC could be really cool if it allowed you to store your settings and other info on the ski, provide stock numbers etc but it only opened radars vimeo channel and the NCF was locked. It skies great so my note book works just fine.
  9. For the record Im 6'6 , yes, I really love the ski. Watch out Horton I'm coming for your prize money in September and Im bringing my Senate Pro with me :). Its going to be a handicap clean up. Thanks @eddie_roberts_jr !
  10. You will never know if something will work unless you try it. How the ski preforms for you is what matters not the size tag . Personally I ilke a supports me on the water and moves with less effort. Don't fear a longer ski. In my book shorter is more work. I've planed a demo in a week or so. Hope to take one home. I loved the pro vapor but at 34 it could not support me as well as the senate. I'm excited to see that radar is focused on 34mph skiers!
  11. yes mine is a sunstream and my install was as a worst case situation. if your 9k for a new lift installed it would seen to be in the normal range.
  12. Not including the lift, I had mine installed on a 45 degree slope 8 feet of water in the front and 16 in the back with deep water braces . One side needed a underwater saw cut in to a log for the feet on one side. Ihink the install was 4500. If your on a flat lake bottom it's not a hard job Ive done a few myself just chose to make sure the lift was secure on the slope :)
  13. My fin came today Thanks guys! Now for the fun part what settings should I start with :)
  14. I move mine with a 3 or 4 person tube. Put it under the lift bunks and lower lift until the lift floats with the tube sandwiched between the bunks and frame
  15. It's a Gski, as long as it gives a great ride and drives as good or better then the 200. I can warm up to the styling.
  16. Waterfront house hunting, Seth Stisher the Lake Oswego episode is when he skies. https://www.fyi.tv/shows/waterfront-house-hunting
  17. Mine had the same issue when using the rope gide so I tried the shock tube and found it works best with the shock tube mount. Seems using a shock tube helps a lot with reducing the shake from the rope.
  18. The senate is designed to run 34 mph, your running at 30 so to get similar performance you need to up size (it's a given). At 30 your two steps down in speed so if you size down two steps its borderline and could lean to the 71. If you can try both 69/71 you should. I think what you will find is that one will be more physical work and the other will feel like your lighter on the water . I ski the 2017, 71 @ 34 and it works very well even when skiing short line. My wife skis at 28 mph on my 2015 71 senate and she is lighter then you and it turns well for her and she likes not being as completely worn out as she was on her 68 senate which ran deeper in the water at that speed. I took a while to get her to try it, she was sold on the first ride. Bottom line either will work ,try both if you can. But, if you plan to ski 34 go with 69. I personally prefer the 2017 model over the 2015.
  19. There was a change and the 71 lithium should be back before next summer! Thanks Brooks !
  20. My understanding is that 71 lithium was not in the 2018 product run.
  21. When I did mine I ordered a new face plate from nautiqueparts that held the round controller
  22. There is only two parts that can generally cause this Steering cable ~180 US (if wheel turns rudder easy not likely the issue) I can change mine in 1.5 hours Helm ~200 US ( if nothing loose likely the issue ) 1 - 1.5 to replace when I did my 05 SN196 Attachments Steering cable to helm loose ( four bolts directly under and behind the helm. ) check for sung or The pin/ attachment arm from the steering cable to the rudder (open the back pull up the center floor of the compartment and see if loose tighten .)
