  1. This is my lxr, I had it installed fairly close to the front of the windscreen so i had a bit more height at the back of it and it looks better. Getting into the bow isn't to bad, fairly tall people obviously struggle but I'm short so doesn't bother me.
  2. Technically there is new software. If you upgrade to the single puck antenna then you have to get new software to suit it.
  3. where did you get this kit from thager?
  4. A1 or A2 are the closest in my opinion but still feels nothing like pp. I was speaking to Austin Able a few months back about the new zo pucks and software and he said that the pull seems to be a lot softer. He described it like this in terms of the type of pull. "If pp is an an A, and the old zero off/pucks are a C, then the new zo if is a B". He also said that he went out at 36mph and it felt like 34mph. Sounds odd!
  5. Nice boat! How does it go with the different heads and manifold?
  6. Our club membership is $60 a year and then it's another $250ish for the awwf membership but that covers you if you are injured at the club or a tournament.
  7. I emailed zero off to find out when the update would be available. Looks like I jumped the gun on buying it... If only I had read this thread earlier. This is what they sent me. "Hi Ben – we have launched a new single GPS antenna option with our boat builder partners. The pull of this is almost identical to the dual antenna set up. We will be launching the new single puck solutions and retro kits on our Zero Off web site soon. Please check back in a few weeks. It will be up to consumers if they want to try to switch to the new set up. "
  8. I just got a new response lxr. Optioned it without ZO but ordered it through my local dealer. Did that about 3 weeks ago and it should be here next week. Hopefully I get the latest system, I'll be pretty dissapointed if I've spent all this money and get an older system that seems to have issues. Does anyone know when they started releasing the latest version?
  9. Get zo. I just got a new response and was going to make do with the factory Malibu cruise but after using it once I bit the bullet and went zo. You won't look back!
  10. I got a d3 quest45. After one set I was a full pass up and after half a season I'm 3 passes up. Love it and can't fault it. Very forgiving and now my offside is as good as my onside. Never riden the radar but don't intend to either.
  11. Put a dial indicator on it. Soon be able to tell
  12. Its the start of summer and I got a new boat! Couldn't be happier
  13. Ive had worn dampener plate springs in my previous boat and it's not that for sure. I just Checked the bolts and they are all tight. I'll just wait for the dealer to come out. They told me to keep running it in over the weekend so they mustn't be to concerned.
  14. Na it's clean. Haven't hit anything. The dealer is coming to water test it with me on Monday. I read a few threads on the Malibu crew website and a few guys have the same problem but they think it's normal.
  15. Yeah just slowly moving forward...just above idle. I've driven response lx's and I can't recall them doing it. I read that it could be cavitation but the odd thing is I'm positive it never did until yesterday.
  16. Hey! I hope some of you response owners can put my mind at ease. Took my new response lxr out yesterday to continue running it in. As I was putting it on the trailer I put it in reverse to slow down. It was then I noticed a pretty harsh vibration. Took it for another drive to see if it would do it again and it does. Costing slowing fowards and then into reverse is the worse and if you stop and go into reverse hard it shakes the boat. I'm positive it never did this (only done 6 hours). Is this normal from a response??. It's under warrenty but id still like to hear from others with the same issue. Thanks
  17. Yeah mate at the albury/wodonga one @rockdog
  18. Thanks. It's an easytow trailer made here in aus.
  19. Took delivery of my new response lxr today! Love it!
  20. 2001 stejcraft skier, about to be traded in a new response lxr.
  21. Voltage/earth issue for sure. Mine goes crazy if the battery is a bit flat on start up
  22. What malibu did you have before this?
  23. Spoke to the local supplier here in Aus. They are un sure if it's still covered under warrenty but will get back to me. They are happy to sell me replacement parts to fix it but! If it's not covered I'll be buying something else as I think 5 months out of a set of bindings is just crap.
  24. Your the one that brought this! I've been eyeing this off on boat sales for ages but could never sell my boat. Then I seen it had gone and was heart broken haha. Great buy, hope you enjoy it!
  25. I always use soap, I don't really need to but it makes life easier. I'll email them some photos on Monday. I'm tempted to try some radar bindings but if they fix this for free ill stick with them.
