  1. shadowing the buoys has always helped me. I ski lots of sets on a new rope length shadowing the buoys about 8 to 10 feet in front of them. speeding the boat up on my easier passes has always helped me too.
  2. I ski with an ex air force pilot who flew the F-4 phantom, and F-15 eagle, he never quoted a number, but has told me that we are pulling some good G's in and out of the turn.
  3. My wife and I took an anniversary/waterski trip to Florida last September, I have never been coached before and decided to ski two sets at a different ski school each day. We loved seeing new places and came home with lots of different points of views and things to practice. With only 5 days, I would recommend 2 or 3 different places. If I could only pick one, I would go back to Palm Beach training center.
  4. Amazing picture!! Well done horton, thanks for the hat and very cute baby!
  5. What size are you looking for? I have one that was only used a few times. Mens size 13. If that works for you, you can have it.
  6. I have met andy and Deena, but never met their kids. I'm sure they great people too!
  7. Stumbled on this photo, he looks a realistic 7'5'' to me. Made me laugh!! I'm thinking director of sales/Andy's personal body guard for the next Big Dawg championships.
  8. id love to see nate smith try and run 41 off there
  9. blue lake park in oregon is a good example of what some of you guys are saying. it used to be a stop on the pro tour, close to the bigger cities, the water was horrible, the scores were low, and the crowds were huge!! 10 times bigger than most pro events now days. not one person attending cared wether or not someone set a pb. i think places like that promote the sport on a greater level
  10. koppert lake in toledo washington can accommodate rv's with water and electric hookups's, or any kind of camping. great prices, great lake, great owner!! just spent a week there and loved it!!
  11. will asher has done the same with his boot. i recently cut mine done and it is much easier for me to keep the ski in front of me off the second wake.
  12. personally I'm thankful for the spoiled brat, poor loser, softball guy who should of made it to the 'big leagues' behavior by all those involved. because of their poor sportsmanship i was able to attend a wedding and still catch the end of the webcast. congratulations to andy and jeff! heard it was a really hot day down in texas, maybe people got dehydrated and weren't thinking clearly... note to all goode representatives, next time you guys are in such hot weather, fill up your baby bottles with gatorade!!
  13. if your back foot ever slips out, your foot is moving around, or your heal is lifting too much, your RTP is not sized right for you. you can customize it completely for very cheap. plate from a metal shop, custom sized rubber from wileys, gray 3m tape from ace hardware. move the plate farther back than industry standard, size the rubber to enable your foot to push further in. (drill wider holes for rubber pattern if necessary.) your back foot will have more control, better support, better grip, and your toes can still be the correct distance from your front boot. stock rear toe plates are a joke!!
