  1. Is it an A1? We all want to know. When does the T3 get its turn?
  2. There should be a law against men skin posing!! Good book though...
  3. I love watching total dominance, but I do wonder if Nate would sell more skis if weren't such a freak of nature.
  4. I wonder, would Nate be more marketable if he didn't make it look so easy? Would his sponsors be better off, if he won half the tournaments instead of all of them? If he won by half a buoy instead of four. Do we feel he is such a natural athlete, the equipment is a non factor in his scores?
  5. Its super easy to measure 6 buoys. Get it right. No webcast... WOW!! Can anyone say if Nate worked hard to get 2.5, or did he let up to ensure the title?
  6. Cultis is a pretty lake! @Skirvind, what was the water temp?
  7. @NateSmith43 what's your practice PB, 4?
  8. Prineville reservoir is another good option. A downside there is the wind picks up around 10 am and never goes away.
  9. Hey @Glock, Ten mile lake near Coos Bay is a great place try. It has one course, sometimes two and the beach/sand dunes is 5 minutes away.
  10. Thanks @Horton amazing angle off the buoy!!
  11. If a 4 ball course brings in a huge crowd, I'm all for it. If the same family and friends crowd are the only ones who show, then a non regulation course is stupid! If your going to screw around I'd rather watch a "wrong foot forward" tournament, or have a 70's themed event with 70's boats, skis, wigs. Drop the speed to 34 for the men, 32 for the women and see what the pros can do. Blindfolded tournament? If the scores don't count, there's all sorts of fun tournaments to draw crowds.
  12. @GOODESkier do you have a course set up on the Columbia? I live in OC and would love to check it out!
  13. I am always thankful and thrilled every time a ski event has a live webcast. For me, focusing more on the athletes before and after they ski would make things more interesting. Show them warming up, close ups on their skis and equipment, conversations they may be having. Make it feel more personable before they ski. Then interview them fresh out of the water to get some genuine emotion. A few simple things could add some huge entertainment to the viewers.
  14. The general public will never be interested again. Boats are too expensive, skis are too expensive, gas is too expensive, and ski clubs are too expensive and exclusive. Video games are cheap and Porn is free. The "general public" either can't afford this sport, or are sick, lazy, sexual immoral degenerates.
  15. After watching today I feel it was a terrible idea to have the Big Dawg finals coincide with the US Open. I hope it never happens again. To me it took away from both events.
  16. Glock, if your serious about tournaments, go for the Zero off. Thanks to your wife's genes I foresee your kids receiving full scholarships, so no need to save for college.
  17. Very impressive! I'm a big fan of three event skiers.
  18. I despise the 4 ball course! It's like the NBA playing on a 9 foot rim, the NFL playing on a 60 yard field. The only interesting thing a 4 buoy course creates is it takes away a little bit of Nate's advantage over the rest of the skiers.
