  1. I wear between a 10 and 10.5 depending on shoe - athletic shoes a bit larger. My Profile binding is an 11 - the 10 was a bit too short.
  2. @Scotchipman - looks like it will match your Nautique
  3. @VONMAN -I've experienced the same thing from the start of the season (aka the last 3 weeks). Puck is also on top of the dash - in front of the window. Nothing has changed of any substance. I'm going to call PP today, seems a common thread right now across too many people to be a coincidence.
  4. Today in Utah (I'm not counting the Feb Costa Rica trip) - yes I know @scotchipman, you've been at it for a while :)
  5. also consider etrailer or pacific trailer as well.
  6. Thanks @BOS_Shirts - order going in shortly
  7. @BOS_Shirts - Fully get that color contrast has to happen. What about light greys or heather?
  8. is the ski early, ski often available in other colors? only white is appearing on the purchase page. Looks awesome!
  9. I can only speak to my experience last month flying SLC to Costa Rica. We put two skis, plus jackets, handles, gloves into a sport tube 3 and it worked out great. Having worked my college days as a ramp rat at O'hare, I know the abuse bags get. It worked out great. For a slightly cheaper option you can go to backcountry.com and get the orange version for about $230. Just make sure you use a bungee cord from the end to the "locking" hole in addition to a travel lock. Those locks are not very strong.
  10. I just put a Wiley Wide XL RTP on my Senate. Works great and I can get my full foot in easily, yet holds my foot very well. I have a size 10.5 foot w/ a high arch
  11. So we waited a bit and started taping day 2 - as @chef23 described. Worked for the rest of the week. Unfortunately we waited too long - should have taped right from the beginning - but it was manageable.
  12. Just got back from WaterSkiCostaRica......thought I'd update this thread: 1. Jim and Susan are great hosts - don't expect to lose weight as the lunches are incredible 2. We had Wade Cox as our coach - enough said. Dealing with two skiers at our level (novice in the course) - he focused on building our fundamentals. Can't wait for him to come to Utah with the Ski w Wade tour. 3. We had the unfortunate case of the weather pattern bringing windy conditions all week long - but with the lake layout, it was still very manageable. At the end of the day - we can't wait to return! We learned a lot, and started down the path of looking for more balls.
  13. So the wife and I have made the committment - a week at water ski costa rica to finally learn the course. Any suggestions from the ballers to get the most out of the experience? Ready .....Go!
  14. Another variation would be "what is your dominant foot" and which foot if forward. I'm left handed, right foot dominant and ski RFF - now that's goofy
  15. it seems like this has been discussed a bit - but I'm going to pile on anyway - maybe it will be me my first Panda. Going to Waterski Costa Rica in Feb, with 2 skis, Radars with Profile & Lyric Bindings. Sportube 2 or 3? Easy to remove bindings if needed.
  16. My wife is not going to like this :D
  17. I went with the Samson on my Titan II tower - one of the few that will hold the mirror level. Yes the boat came w/ the tower when I bought used.
  18. Mohs surgery on a Basal cell carcinoma this past tuesday - on my nose. Hmmm - too much sun from sailing, water skiing, snow skiing and bicycling. Use that sunscreen!
  19. when the water is of the solid variety here in utah, I still live vicariously through those that can still ski and tell/brag about it.
  20. Been using a traeger for a couple years - once you cook a pork butt in the traeger, there's no going back to an oven. I used it for steaks, just remember that it takes a bit longer than the typical gas grill to get to the hot temp you would want for a steak. Camp Chef is touting a pellet grill that also has a high temp propane searing station - you might want to check that as well
  21. Advantage to PC is that you're close to a wider variety of dining, etc.
  22. There has been a Sunsetter LXI up for sale here in UT for quite some time - check out ksl.com classifieds
  23. now if she win's the drawing for a ski session with @Chris Rossi it will be even better.
  24. Pulled the trigger - local shop end of season sale today through Saturday made a new lyric hard to pass up. End result = happy wife, happy life
  25. Hey All - After a week of skiing at Lake Powell, my wife want's a new ski. First off is that she's an improving open water skier - not sure if she'll ever run the course, but you never know. She has expressed interest in obtaining some coaching to improve. She has been skiing a 2014 Radar Theory - and enjoying it. As an experiment, she jumped on my too long for her 69 2017 Senate Graphite - and loved it even though it was too long. The question is (since it's going to be hard to demo a ski before our local shop has their end of season clearance), do we go with the Senate Graphite in the appropriate size - or - a Radar Lyric....I'd appreciate the thoughts on the different flex characteristics between the two. My understanding is that the Lyric is "Senate Alloy-like" with a women's flex pattern.
