I have a course on a public lake about 20 miles west of Itasca State Park.

@Horton I love it. Classic, clean and simple.

I really like skiing with Arthur when I'm in the Ft. Myers area. His coaching is spot on and now they have a 2019 Prostar. I think the only way to book is online. They are getting busier so book early.

 

 

 

Today 11/14. Water 75/ Air 86 on Lake Carrie in South Florida. Oh and that's not a muskrat in the water.

 

What if you combined this with the Virtual Slalom App. Could you verify that you ran the pass since there is no actual buoy to go around? Or even use the app to start it on your turn in?

The Boarding School. Travis and Freddie are great with kids too. Great vibe on the dock not just churn and burn. Oh and the lakes are awesome!

Yup. Same bracket so it makes it a little cheaper.

@Dacon62 you'll be upgrading to the 140. I have the 140 and a buddy had the 100. After driving my boat a couple of times he upgraded. With the 100 you can only see one buoy line well form my experience.

I've been on a 69" Senate Pro for about a month now. I'm 6'-3" 195# and ski @ 32.3. With the stock #'s and coming off a 68" 2016 Vapor the Senate felt big. Brooks give me new #'s (6.975, 2.450 & .795) Vapor boot middle hole 31.75 and now I'm really liking the ski. It feels smaller and turns quicker.

3 skis. You'll all have a lot more fun and reduce the risk of injury due ill fitted equipment.

I've used a homemade version of the Shorestation lift kit with a swim platform for years. It works pretty good but when the lift settles in the muck its had to get it reattached in the fall. So I'm going to use this "http://www.boatlifthelper.com/" this year. Definitely more expensive.

3 rounds 8am start time. Bring a chair.

Upper and lower ruptures are very different from my understanding. I did my upper and was back skiing in about 3 1/2 months. I think @Horton did his lower.

I have the same motor in an 03' Response (definitely Cable) and from my experience you'll want the latest version of PP 3 Event or you won't be happy.

The Minneapolis Boat Show has a Prostar and a Malibu Response this year.

Like @bko I had THR at the age of 48. The 1st one went so well 6 months later I had the other one done. I took a year off from skiing but part of that was due to winter. Now six years out I'm in my best physical shape since I played Junior Hockey. Absolutely no regrets.

 

@v1car Good Luck with your decision. Your surgeon and rehab are probably the biggest factors either way.

Just updated an 03' Malibu from SG Wake Edition to 3 Event v9. It's so much better. No more over shooting like @TallSkinnyGuy said and not at all sensitive to how you throttle up.

@Shark that's fantastic. Now Justin and I are going to really have to step it up next summer.

 

PS. How many IPA's did the advice cost you? :)

@DooSPX Sorry to hear that about the damage at your lake. What lake is it? We have a home on Lake Carrie also in Highlands County. We were very fortunate only minor damage to the roof, our boathouse and boat are fine. There is a course on Lake Francis that appears to have survived the storm. We do not live there full time but come 1 week a month from Nov. thru April. I have a portable course and would be happy to have someone to ski with.

In Sept. I purchased a 2017 Prostar consignment boat with under 5 hrs on it through Bennett's. Steve was awesome to deal with. They got my check on Wed and shipped it 1200 miles to me with U ship. I was skiing behind it Sat.

I ran my 1st ever at any speed -22 @ 30.4 (back to back) on my first attempt behind our new to us 2017 prostar last weekend.

So I did the repairs and got the sag out of the arms but had to go with plan B. The capped 2" PVC added to much flotation. I tried shortening them but ran out of caps. 30 inches was still to much. So I zip tied 8" of small noodle midway to the arm. I also added a 20 oz. water bottle filled with sand and water to each arm directly under the turn ball. Worked beautiful. Before
