  1. The U21 Worlds are every other year so passing it up would be a missed opportunity. Lots of pro events, few Worlds. Yes several pro women are U21 and podium at pro events but dang they earned it and should have a crack at it before they age out.
  2. I’m sorry I’m not seeing the issue, glitches seem fixed? I feel I spend half the day on various sites for our business from admin, to HR to ordering supplies. IMO The new site is comparable, modern and efficient. I find it easier to navigate and enter 20+ tournaments a year, check rankings for US & IWWF, sanction a tourney or find officials paperwork etc. It did have glitches in beginning but seems fixed? Rankings seem in order? Most annoying part to me is some tournaments are still paper entries ?‍♀️

    Is everyone using:

    https://www.teamusa.org/USA-Water-Ski

Personally I think it’s faster and smoother.

Just for fun, Tamara Comstock's "Stars on the Water" is a song written for the Masters Waterski & Wakeboard Tournament at Callaway.

It is played during the Parade of Champions where past and present winners zoom around in the Nautiques with their countries flags before the final, super cool!

The announcing onsite was fantastic and highlighted the athletes, hard-working vendors and sponsors. Not sure how the enthusiasm translated to the webcast, but they are great announcers and any other tone wouldn’t match the energy of the event. It was perfect for the packed beaches of Robin Lake, many visitors who had never seen waterskiing in person. Unfortunately the vibe probably doesn’t translate to the screen but it drew the diverse crowd to the action on the water and to the vendors & sponsors.

  4. Santa Rosa median price is over $400 per SF and dozens of 5-10 million dollar homes within blocks of the lake. It’s priced to sell fast for the area, just hoping a lucky skier gets it! It’s an absolutely stunning area. While you’re not directly on the lake, you could throw a rock at it.

Such a unique site with the friendliest people, kids playing in the street and a neighborhood feel. I know my family gets a kick riding in the boat for Regina and their is a lot of culture with the many foreign skiers.

FYI No HOA and you pay per set, too convenient to have a boat and driver 7 days a week. Easy to AirBnB when you’re not there. We bought in October and if we could stay year round we would, despite our beautiful set up in California at Bell Acqua Lake 3, SRB is ridiculously safe, clean and gorgeous.

Just listed today and had to share....won’t you be my neighbor?! What a shame if a non-skier swoops this up! This area is EXPLODING and the price reflects the growth of 30A. Contact Elizabeth at 1(832) 410-7934. You won’t be disappointed and wives will be thrilled: best skiing, shopping, dining and stunning beaches ? Not to mention the nicest, most coveted and talented coaches! 30A is incredible...not enough words to describe it.

  6. California had the Best of the West Junior Development last year in June and again this year.

It’s up to the AATA (Arvin Area Tournament Association) organizers I would guess. Arvin area lakes are hosting 10 tournaments this year. Seems like business as usual. There won’t be skiers to hold tournaments in the future if JD falls to the wayside. Best bet is to let them know you are willing to volunteer to make it happen.
