Our son broke a jump ski during Nationals and its virtually impossible to replace until December when the manufacturer is going to start building again. (Sent ski in for repair but might be awhile and realizing importance of a backup pair!) Anyone looking to sell or loan newer 86" D3 Nightmares? The red and black higher end version. If you're done jumping for the year will happily order you a new pair if we can have yours now :) Our season is still rippin' Thanks in advance!

Ski it Again sells a cool elastic cover that has a fleece interior. (Its one of the ads) They happen to fit with the pool noodles on as well if you loosen the straps. We have used our for years!

That is approx. the same time as the Western Regionals at Laku Landing in Colorado. Their is a warm-up tourney 21/22 in Windsor, Colorado that might coincide with your visit?

It was awesome, very well done event like last year! Congrats to Critchley, close finals! The women slayed too!

 

Here are what Most Improved Awards look like at Regionals & Nationals (these are from from USA Waterski) exactly the same year to year. I just leave em in Boxes now. They definitely just reorder the exact same medals and slap the sticky date on em. :(

Here are some cool examples of ski medals. Notice the embroidered or screenprinted ribbons and the size and weight of medals. Our kids were fortunate to ski in Oregon and they have dozens of trophies big & tall from class C tournaments. They were so stoked to get these! Nationals should represent accordingly, it is the same generic medals year after year.(They do not always say Nationals in past years either.) Western Regionals absolutely kills it with awards year after year, it becomes a source of pride...nothing lame on the podium. :)

 

With complaining comes a willingness to help out. What is the budget for Junior awards at Nationals? Happy to be a business donor to match that to double the budget until our kids age out. (Then maybe another business can take over.) Let's get some sick medals or preferably modern trophies for Overall on the podium! I would be happy to take this over (shopping for deals pro right here!) as long as whatever USA Waterski spends on medals & Overall awards for Juniors is disclosed & matched. Make sense?

Unfortunately the medals were very non-descript and cheap, the ribbon is the same color for all placements. So while our son got 4, they all look the same, like participation awards :( Western Regionals kills it with custom Medals with appropriate colors and custom plaques for overall.

Hi! You can order it directly from Masterline woven into your handle. I called the order in to get ours, it was not advertised on website. After a season of use we feel there are safer options (if your fist goes through this, it is not coming out, there is no give.) This go round we ordered the FluidMotion for our new handles. Hope this helps!
