  1. I have ridden and owned both the green "14" and the new "16", the 14 was one of my all time favourite skis, I have found the 16 to feel faster, both across course, and carrying more speed through the turn. It is so quick off the back of the ball it's ridiculous, and never have I had a ski turn so symmetrically on both sides, I am particularly impressed on the offside, where the ski doesn't get stuck, it just seems to keep moving even when I drop a shoulder and break at the waist, I ski 55kph, pb 3@13m. I am just starting my season and had around 10 sets on the 68" and it keeps getting better and better every set, there is so much forgiveness and stability it inspires you to have a go for that next buoy, even though you know you shouldn't, but then you turn it and shoot off to the next, I have really enjoyed all my ski's but this one I love, and I can't wait to see what the season has in store for me.
  2. @horton, that would be good, I signed up for a couple,
  3. Is this a rehab of an old thread or are new t-shirts being printed?
  4. Had my first set on this set up last night, went better than I expected, I feel so much more connected to my ski, and the water, managed to get my boots to the right spacing, and they look like they should release, I did have to make a specific screw washer for the rear of front boot though to get the right measurement from the rear of the ski.
  5. Andy talks about this whitewater turn in in his slalom with Andy Mapple dvd, he said it was practice to make him confident he could run passes even with a bad gate...
  6. My 08 lxi has a small canister filter on top of the fuel pump, you can replace them, bakes marine or ski dim sell them, but I have talked with numerous Malibu dealers in Aus and the US and they all say it is not necessary to replace it.
  7. I've had 3 sets on the 68" 2016 Vapour, and wow, i am 5 sets into my season skiing like a complete amateur and this ski just lets me run buoys, stand on the front, ride the tail, random hook turns. Slams, what ever it just keeps getting me to the next buoy, so fast off the ball, so stable everywhere, and can turn ohh so hard, I can't wait for me to improve and see how far I can push my skiing this season, well done RadaR
  8. @jordan @LOTW @skialex thanks for the advice, I'll give it a shot and see how it goes
  9. Anyone used this set up or know of some one who is, I need a new front boot and am curious as to the safety and performance of running a Reflex font boot with the vapour rear. I'm currently running double vapours, my thoughts would be to graduate to a r style or kicker over time.
  10. For me a spotter is not only there to let the driver know you have fallen off but also if an Emergency arises and the driver needs help to get an injured skier back into the boat.
  11. Patiently waiting for a 68" to show up in NZ... Can't wait...
  12. Tried long and shallow settings, it's a ski the does not agree with me, bring back the monza
