    @MISkier most of the courses around here including ours only needs to be sunk on the weekend. Makes it manageable. I ski our public course 99% of the time. Every so often I get invited to a club for a few sets.

    I am jealous! I winterized the boat last weekend knowing what the forecast was going to be this week. Our dealer is taking care of a few things for us and we didn't want to push it too late into November because we store up north. I didn't feel like trailing to storage with snow on the ground. Plus with day light savings ending last weekend it makes it virtually impossible to get home with enough time to ski before its completely dark. We did end on a beautiful day last week though. I can't complain! Oh well count down is on until 2016!

    Haha I wasn't taking it as the end of the world, it would just be a bit of a bummer. I would still ski just as much and still care just as much. Would just have to adapt and at my level it could be a bit more difficult to adapt as I am finally starting to consistently run 15 and deep into 22 at 36mph for the first time in my life. So, it might be a bigger bummer.

    @Horton good point. I would be pretty bummed if my 13 TXi felt completely different than the 16's coming out. Replacing boats every year isn't an option for us. Curious to continue hearing the reviews on the new 5.3 and new ZO system, especially on how it is going to effect the manufactures that aren't using the new 5.3. Or are they all now, I don't think so right?

    @ajgear nice buy!! Add the heater, I honestly don't know how @oldjeep boats in MN without using his. ;) We use ours all the time between April-May, September-October.

    Got our last sets in last night. Water was 52 and Air was about 55 when we started probably dropped to high 40's by when we finished at dark. Was some of the best late October sets I have ever had though!

    There is also a nice course on the SW corner of Glen Lake. Not too far away.

    It is just double sided adhesive tape, not Velcro. That is a good idea though. I just put a call into my dealer as well. I know they have installed a few systems on boats that didn't have ZO come from the factory. Curious to see how they do it.

    So while drying off the boat after our Sunday morning sets, I noticed that the starboard side puck was loose! I picked it up expecting to see a hole and a missing screw. Well, I was wrong. It is just held on with an adhesive backing. Is this normal? There is a threaded insert on the bottom of the puck to screw into. I am guessing that both adhesive and a screw would be best. Assuming adding a screw is the best solution, anyone have any suggestions on accurately drilling the hole?

    @onamission - Great to see you got amazing support here too. Going back to work could be tough I imagine. It was tough to go back after 2.5 months off when I was hurt two years ago. I will be driving at Polar Bear and might ski... depending on the weather :)

    @Chuck_Dickey Good to hear! I love my progears and would order a size up for fall/spring if needed. I will be placing an order for these in the spring.

    Did you have to order a size bigger glove from Progear? Also do you think it affected your grip at all?

    Been on a lot today. It is very cool to get slalom in the spotlight. Friends and family have been texting me since they have seen it the first time. Most of them are like, "Oh that's what you do?!"

    Nice video. I would love to go back to September, we have ice forming on our lake... That looks like a pretty sweet site too. The dock/skier area is nicely setup. And that is one nice looking TXi too!

    I head to the snow hills in MI! Some are actually open this weekend, might go for the sake of saying I went. I don't race like oldjeep though. Would rather be on the water though. Lake is also a good time if we have good ice. With the way this winter is starting I would say we will have good ice. They have 1/4 mile oval track dirt bike races and 1/4 mile drags as well. Bar plows a 9 hole golf course for an event too!
