  1. Demo - Demo - Demo.

I will say this, when I made the jump from the CX to the V-Type to the A3, I was amazed at the difference I noticed. It is amazing how quick you feel those changes. However, I agree that you should ski the TX into some fast speeds before feeling the need to change. Running consistent 32 MPH passes should be the goal before looking at the higher level skis. I would def move into a Syndicate level from the TX (vs going to a CX - from my experience, not much of a performance jump there).

  2. Hello All,

I am moving this Saturday to a house on the lower Fox River and wondering if there is anyone who skis the lower river or any lower river courses. I currently ski on the upper river in the Dutch Creek course with the guys out there (lucky enough to have my parents have a house there). I am right by the Nordic Ski jump on the lower river and hoping to ski after work on week days. Anyone on here ski in that area? Will gladly return pulls on the upper river anytime

  3. Hey @rpg , I have used both curved and straight handles as well as handles of all diameters. The short answer in my opinion is that it is 100% personal preference. For what it is worth - I went from a .970 to a 1.+ and did not like the change - very quickly went back to what I was use to. For me, it was a noticeable distraction with the thicker handle. I was always adjusting my hands - which previously was something I never thought about.
  4. Starting higher (come up on the boat more/pull out farther) for your gates is where it all starts - I see a lot of people saying this because it is true. Try that to set your self up for a one ball that you ski around sharper. From the video - it looks like you tend to hit the front of the bouy. One thing I have been working on is mentally trying to hit the backside of every skier ball. It has helped a lot. This is easier to do the better your one is.

Hope that helps - great thread!

  5. I am also NW of the city and my parents live on the public course in Johnsburg (upper fox river). We got in with the guys who ski over there and it really is an amazing spot. We maintain the course well (even when the jet skis take over on Holiday weekends after skiers leave). @sb_dc_mbs_13
