  1. Thanks for the input. Anyone else have any experience with the legacy?
  2. I skied at 34 last time out on my 67".
  3. Anyone have experience with a 2000-Era supra Legacy? Have a possible trade opportunity. More interested in performance and general driving characteristics than anything else- it's very similar otherwise to the santerra. Though I'm concerned about how it would handle rough water
  4. Fox yes it is. looked at the centurion, seems more slated towards wakeboarding, though I didn't find much on them. if I was going to say percentage wise this boat would be 85-90% slalom and 15-10% wakeboarding. In the sense that maybe once in a great while a friend might want to wakeboard and it'd be nice to have the option. In my thinking that means getting a ski boat, hopefully with a tower and wakeplate/wedge.
  5. The MN one looks great. Maybe a little far. Just have to sell our boat now. And I'll definitely be in touch with you mbabiash if we can get our boat sold this summer
  6. Mbabiash I'd definitely be interested, depending on where you are located? And assuming we can sell our boat. Thanks for the advice on the MC 205. Will definitely look around for those too
  7. Any other suggestions? Also thanks for those links.
  8. Hmm maybe if you sent it in a padded envelope it might not be too bad? Would depend on how much yous want for it before shipping.
  9. I actually did call Wiley's before and they didn't have anything at the moment that would work. I might try and go into a local shop and see if any other brands would line up. The mounting pattern is 120mm wide up front, 92mm wide in the rear, and 255mm front to back holes.
  10. The P-6 is a great choice. We have the 67" version and love it. Works great for my son and I who are both 155 lbs, and my other son who's closer to 185lbs loves it at closer to 34 mph. We only free ski, but it definitely performs well and was great for the boys to learn on. Super easy to get up on too.
  11. Hi all. First post- Trying to figure out which boat to get. 8 years ago bought an older 1999 Supra Santera with a couple other families thinking all the kids would want to wakeboard... Lo and behold all of them ended up skiing almost exclusively. So now we have a fantastic wakeboard boat, with a fantastic (large) wakeboarding wake. You can slalom behind it, but it's far from ideal. Most us older guys have been skiing for 30 years- not regularly but are all good skiers, so are the kids. Currently we ski with about a 68 foot rope, from 32-35 mph (I ski at 35, just to get the wake down). Will probably go to a shorter rope if we get a new boat. Anyways, trying to sell the Supra and get a more ski friendly boat. The Supra is honestly perfect for our needs in every way except for the wake size. Will pretty much always be on public lakes, so it has it handle open water decently. Open bow is a must. Budget is around 25K, don't want to go any older than 2000 models- 2005 and up would be a better age. Just depends. After browsing this forum and other for a while pre-2005 (diamond hull) Malibu Sunsetter LXI seems perfect, although very hard to find. The Response LXI also seems like a good fit, though I'm a tad concerned about dunking the bow in rougher water. I think 2007 and up the bow was raised a bit, but finding a boat in budget might be hard. No specific preference to Malibu, maybe one of the MC Prostar models would be good as well? Any advice on good boats to look for would be greatly appreciated. We're located in Colorado which makes finding a boat harder, though I wouldn't be against bringing one home from MI or IL this summer, will be there for quite some time.
  12. We have an older 2001 Connelly Concept F3 Ski with Stoker bindings (double boot). In 2002 or 2003 Connelly switched their drilling pattern I believe. Trying to find a rear toe plate that would drop on without having to redrill. Anyone have any ideas where I could find something that would work? Or even have something you'd sell... Thanks
