  1. I detail boats and I would recommend someone professionally polishing the gel coat and waxing it. when you go to wipe down the boat, use a white vinegar/water mixture, then next time spray wax it. I use meguiars ceramic coat spray wax. By alternating what you wipe the boat down with you're 1. cleaning it and 2. protecting it keeping it looking nicer for longer
  2. If it is white capping I would skip and avoid injury, but I prefer to ski in wind, rain, bad weather, etc because when you get to a tournament they're not going to stop because the wind picked up or changed directions, so it helps to get used to different conditions.
  3. I have an '08 216 and I ski mid 39 @ 36 and don't notice anything shorter than 28. Personally I think the 196 has a bigger wake/rooster tail than the 216
  4. Hands down best ski I have ever been on! glides amazing, finishes beautifully through the turn and generates so much speed. Most consistent I've ever been on a ski
  5. @eleeski my current quantum is just like you said "magical", lol. Thanks for your imput!
  6. I'm currently on a 42" quantum and wanting to go to a 43" in either a radar or quantum. I love my quantum and want to get another one, but I also want to try a radar. No clue how the radar skis and flips. just wondered what yall thought.
  7. gonna be a bit biased, but although its a bit windy at certain sites, south texas is the best
  8. I have never had problems when traveling on southwest. Usually no charge for checked bags
  9. @Skid do whatever calms you. I listen to music, chew gum, and bounce a tennis ball. I have ADHD, and all of these keep me calm. Also ski like you are skiing at your home lake in a practice set. Leave everything on the dock, and dont think too much.
  10. @OB1 I have not ridden the 2017 yet. I just have a lot of knowlage on the radar products.
  11. @bradb Sure. It skis better due to the new core material, PMI foam, instead of the previous vapor cores made up of pvc foam. As usual in vapors there will be amazing speed, feel of the ski on the water,as well as the forgiveness & durability. you can also read about the construction of the pro build on performance surf and skis website.
  12. Yes, its worth the extra bucks for the 2017 pro build
  13. Just so yall know, I have ridden and gone over
  14. @Bruce_Butterfield I talked to Dylan Melnar, and he suggested that I get 84's
  15. Hey ballers, I'm interested in starting jumping, and I was wondering if anyone has any old, or even new, jump equipment that is up for sale. Thanks so much
  16. Here's my tug, an '08 216 limited
  17. Kept in great condition... ski behind it all the time, and its got a great pull for that year. @gt2003
  18. @Manon_Costard thanks for the suggestions. I've talked to a lot of people, and they have said similar things that you said. Thanks again.
  19. @ToddL I didn't mean to off topic your comment. I'm very sorry.
  20. @dtm8119 it dos that, because you take your liners in and out. The boots aren't ment to handle the roughness of taking the liners in and out.
  21. @Chef23 I'm not sure about starting them again. No offence, but I do a lot of school sports, and I don't want to jeopardize my season(coaches wouldn't be too happy). Last time I did toes, I pulled my hamstring pretty severely a week or two before nationals(when it was at San Marcos). I ended up being okay, but I still have problems with it sometimes, and I think it didn't heal properly. Thanks again for the suggestions
  22. @elr thanks for the suggestions. I don't do toes, because I had a bad experience with them. I hope to start flips, but I'm probably going to go back to the basics and build back up from there. @eleeski again, it's not that old. It's basically the same as the xt from last year. It works good for the tricks I currently do in my runs. Thanks again guys for the suggestions.
