  1. Goode doesnt have any integrated mounting blocks for the inserts its just foam under the top layer of carbon so advise fill it with carbon or Fiberglass and epoxy resin and redrill. I tryed Bostik 2comp epoxy adhesive with (10 min set time) but that dint worked out for me but there are maybe other brand that do the job well, JB Weld Marine seems to be an good product. i like D3 skis inserts cos of the Insert W/ Flange arewoyz175yf.jpg

  2. Cant tell what the fin do or not on the c-65 cos it came shipped with the ski in january but when i tryed mount it on the 17 nano xt alot of the drag just goes away and it get faster over the wakes, and if i keep the depth just under 2.5 and length 6.830 and longer the ski keeps the speed and dont dig in so hard at the buoy which i like at 28off but maybe its needed at shorter linl. edit cg fin at maxed out back on xt havent measured it
  3. Moved the Denali CG fin to my Goode nano xt what a difference so much better speed and the drag is more or less gone as @PSM said the ski slide and smear much more not so grabby as before the XT retain more speed out of the turn can report back the settings think dft was 600 ish but shall measure it
  4. For the first rly Like the termination by @Ed_Johnson "Cutting the Corner" ill experience the opposite Im on the c-65 with CG-fin that i rly like but its way to fast for my non perfect skiing so i get no preturn at first buoy and huge slack at onsides and must wait like almost down next buoy before the boat pic me up and must take a hit that rips my arm off so FTM. im on the "BRICK" nano xt 17 that pull me up and drag me into into an preturn but must work my ass off on that ski 28 off so gonna try the CG-fin on the Goode report back my experience tomorrow,,, ED my like was no missclick by the cat ;) ty for great info
  5. I removed the s-wing for speed on the c-65 (67") and moved bindings to 31,85 and 0.800 fin with supershell on an goode plate i like spacing so 1,5 inch between bindings so the formula for me and prob for all skiers that dont ski like nate or adam caldwell go forward til you find the magic!!! if the holes in the bindings isnt enough go do some modding i dont think there is anything thats to far forward on the denali
  6. @JoelHowley is it possible to see some more pics of your bindings and possible release setup i think a few ppl including me tested the snowboot and are curious pls share some pics. and maybe your input pros and cons. This is what i tested few years ago mgh40043w7yv.jpg

  7. @Ed_Johnson yes sry for this missclick from me or the cat faceroll keyboard the off topic icon that i wasnt aware of,,, yee it was possible to remove it hope i dint cause any

    prolonged damage =)

  8. Im with you guys with this concept geting all this speed think going down the lake Asap ill buy it all, but how do we perform that in practice when are we suposed to stand stacked almost vertical on the ski try to achive an ski that have less Yaw and Roll so near 100% planning for efficiency/powerloss, when the pull from the handle change from lean away from the boat as the oldschool tug of war dino aim for the shore to this New saga where the pull comes from more or much more in front of you, where do you anchor the handle i cant see any way to do this at all, i can only simulate this in the gym with handle attached to cables and weights where the weights wanna pull me like OTF or out of the stacked pos. Is it better to have an wider stance between your bindings for balance? maybe some picture off the water with an handle attached that can help us out how to perform this.
  9. Cant on snowskis gives great improvement first of all you control just 1ski per 1leg not as on a waterski sharing 1 ski with 2 legs that fight against each other espec in my case !!! canting works (mycase) LFF if i put wedge on both front and rear binding, wedge on leftside on my front boot and right side on my rear thats tucks my knees more together again but the downside is what i think @gavski year ago mention is that you lock down your ankle joint and dont be as flexible to the sides ffw and aft works normal tho, the feeling is more like waterski with an snowskiboot thats steer more with the shin.... this spring im gonna test out some combination of cant the hardshells and side ways movement on the bindingsplate to sort out the extremes and go something mid. ill link the one of the post we talked boot canting think there are more of them
