  1. I was offered these two skis on trade a few weeks ago. I turned the deal down, but i was wondering what the two skis where worth. One was a 65 Connelly Concept with double boot and the other was a 65 Connelly F1 double boot.

The F1 looked like this one.

  2. If I was you I would get a HO TX, HO triumph, connelly outlaw or a Radar P6. You would need something a bit wider for slow speeds like 26mph. The length for youwould be a 66 inch would be good or mabey a 67. You can also look at size charts.
  3. I have been skiing on my CX for almost a year and every time after i'm done skiing my feet hurt so bad that I'm limping for a few minutes after. These are the first bindings that I have had that are not all rubber. I was wondering if any one would have any idea why or what I could be doing worng. Thanks
  4. There a great engine I ski behind a 1981 MasterCraft still running strong. The only issue you will have is that over time the carb will have to be adjusted. Also a boat carb has two floats unlike a car carb. We have only had one issue with the carb sense 1981.

One tip is that if it cuts out when you hit the throttle its the carb and if that happens you can restart it and double pump the throttle and still ski.

The carb should not give you any issue, but if it does there pretty cheep to fix.

One other thing is every year you have to put a little gas in the carb to start it for the first time because the Holly carbs get dry from sitting over the winter.

  5. One thing I would Like to add is Last year I was able to ski on the course and I was able to ski 15off at 28mph and got all the buoys. I also skied at 32mph 15off I was able to get 5 I missed buoy 3 or 4. Thats when I learned that I need to start skiing farther out because I was just barely going around the buoys.
  6. Thanks for the tips. I normally ski wider then that, but when I was skiing that day I was trying to work on my cut because it felt really weard, so I was staying close to the wake trying to find out why, but when I finished I looked at my fin and it was bent.
