The wrapped brand ski reminds me of the sans rival SR1 I had that I am told it was Ty oppenlanderk’s Ski..
The SR1 ski was fast and turned on a dime but it was also really stable the only issue I had was I think it was too narrow for me because it took forever to get out of the water with 1 foot in.
one time I even tweaked a hamstring So I had to part with it..
We had a clinic up here recently and I was in the boat when Jodi skied it .
looked like the wrapped Ski was working real well for him..?
Has anyone tried the brand wrapped waterskis?
We had jodi Fisher from Jodi ski school in Florida up for a clinic and he had the brand wrapped Waterskis..
They remind me of the sans rival or fisher Branded skis..
@savaiusini interesting! I am curious as to why you suggested the omega 68 inch versus omega max 67 inch?
I was leaning towards the omega max simply for the width and looked like it was working well for Chris Parrish as a bigger skier..
I had never skied on the cdx but currently have a few ‘16 vtr’s & an really comfortable on them..ran my personal best ever on a HO phantom @a wade cox clinic..
Tried the ‘17 vtx could not get it to work for me.. have not tried the HO pro..
my next Ski to try is the ‘21 HO omega max But I am over 200lbs..
Have worn the animal binding w/laces forever , now with the radar HRT back binding..
I have been on a rear toe for decades, switched to HRT and really like it!
I start with one foot in & wiggle the back foot in when out of the water, it takes a little practice but it is worth it.. I am surprised that a hybrid rear boot has not been invented previously..but I agree with @The_MS the feather plate should have a universal hole pattern.. so I potentially don’t have to make an extra hole..
I have a pain on right elbow just a little further inward from where yours is..
Almost on that bone that is Prevalent.. but I Ski RFF & right palm up so probably opposite how we are supposed to.
I even skied with both palms down to help alleviate the pain..
But up north here we are getting to the end of the season so we’ll see for next year..
What does everyone think is the best vest for not getting water logged?
It seems some vests get heavy when they are wet..
I think the O’Neill slasher stays light when wet..
Wondering about the stokes vests?
I have a few of the HRT boots & I really like them.. I think mine formed to my foot as I wore them..
I won’t go back to a rear toe, the HRT has much more support..
I really like the HRT.. doubt I will go back to a rtp.. just wish the feather plate had holes to accommodate universal hole pattern not just Radar skis..
Interesting discussion I was wondering about that too? A 42 off loop?
It is a logical sequence..-32,-35,-38,-39.5,-41,-42?..
But the loops are really close together & I also see the .5 meters to .25 meters issue..
but -43 is really short!
The HRT is pretty much all I use now coming from RTP. I start with 1 foot in and can get the back foot in on the fly.. it is easier on your back as compared to double boots out of the water plus you can get more lateral leverage with the HRT compared to RTP ..
A friend of mine posted pictures of the hot air balloon festival by a lake that I thought would be perfect for slalom skiing and I happened to see yellow and orange buoys floating in the water .. it definitely looked like a slalom course to me.
Anyone know what lake that might be?
