  1. @vtmecheng I used a vector front and rear toe plate for three years, and never had a problem with them releasing. I tightend the bottom and left the top relatively loose. They did soften up after 20 sets or so.
  2. @aspski Thanks, that's super helpful.
  3. Just wondering if anybody skis in or around the Penticton B.C. area. I am headed out that way for a family reunion during the Labor day long weekend, and was wondering if I could find someone to ski with while I am out there. Don't mind helping out with gas or anything. Thanks.
  4. @Texas6 Will be staying somewhere near the airport, will be in the area from April 12-16, It would be great to meet up. Send me a message if that works for you.
  5. @Kelvin Thanks, I don't know, never been to Houston before, not even sure what hotel I'm staying at this p.(you can see I have my priorities straight)Will be renting a car so as long as you are within 30-60 min away I'm good with that. Is there a way to contact you directly?
  6. I will be in Houston in mid April, I will be in town for a day before heading to Austin. Are there any places I could get a set in or even a chance to free ski? As I am coming from Canada I will not be bringing my ski, will most places have something to use? This will help make up for the snow that fell last night! Thanks for your help.
  7. @Wabobo I have a 2014 CX (non superlight) 67" and love it. I ski at the same speed and rope length as you do, and would totally recommend it. I have been using Radar Vector boots with a RTP for the last 2 years with no real signs of wear and tear. The Radar boots mounted with no issues or problems, and are so comfy. I just got a new Vapor front boot and it mounted exactly as the Vector did (can't wait to try it).
  8. Hi, I have recently upgraded my boots to a set of new 2014 vapors, they come with heat molding inserts (intuition brand), my question is seeings how I got them online, they have not been heated. Can I do this at home? If so how would I go about it? The limited info I have so far is to heat them to 120C then put my feet in them while warm. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    New fin?

@Wayne thanks for the chart, that's really helpful. @Horton, That's some pretty sage advice, thanks.
  10. I have recently received the fin whispering guide, very interesting stuff. My question is I am currently on a 2014 HO CX, which I love! However it doesn't have an adjustable fin. Should I get a syndicate adjustable fin? Will it fit? Should I just leave it alone? I currently ski 15 off @ 32mph. Thanks.
  11. @Horton, I changed the resolution on my screen and, Yes, now I see how to start a new discussion. Thank You.Lol.. Its only my weak eyes that require the larger text.
