Back to the trick event. These are great announcers BUT PLEASE us trick terminology during the trick event and not wake board stuff.

Cannot watch tricks with volume. Use trick terminology for tricks and wake board rhetoric for wake board. You are doing tricks an injustice and people who watch to practice trick calling. Call it what it is. Tired of this. Let Tyler do the tricks and please use the "trick" calling language.

I thank the board and the other "higher ups" for listening and for at least now getting rid of the background checks for those who judge local tournaments.

 

It "sounded" like the board at their Jan. meeting will eliminate the background check for judges except for National judges. Time for me to renew and take the Safe Sport lesson. Thanks to the board for listening.

 

Someone tell me after the January meeting that the BGC is eliminated for judges at local tournaments. At that time I will renew my membership.

Tell me that it is a good idea to give my social security number AND credit card number to someone probably working from their home for a company I know nothing about. SS ok, but background check to continue judging after over years is on the brink. Something needs to change.

"WE" have to get rid of the idea of a Social Security # being needed for this "PROCESS".

$$$$ If it is about the $$$$ to belong to the USOC then "how much is it"? Then decide if that amount is worth it. If not, get out. The Olympics will never happen.

@klindy Definitely pre-turn. Freeze the video. Ski starts backward but makes too much turn before leaving wake. Don't worry, I cannot do the trick correctly or incorrectly and am amazed at his talents but the one shown is NC in my book.

@eleeski we saved the trampoline for ski lines and toe wake lines. It really helped those tricks.

Please let's show a picture or two of a practice devise.

Make a trick practice board. It will really help with the reverse back wrap position. I have made several but have no pictures. Have trick rope attached to something and you can learn MORE than the basics without water. My son and daughter learned all of their tricks except ski lines and flips on the practice board before trying them on the water. Maybe some other trickers out there can supply some pictures. There are several styles. Trickers, please supply those pictures.
