Make a trick practice board. It will really help with the reverse back wrap position. I have made several but have no pictures. Have trick rope attached to something and you can learn MORE than the basics without water. My son and daughter learned all of their tricks except ski lines and flips on the practice board before trying them on the water. Maybe some other trickers out there can supply some pictures. There are several styles. Trickers, please supply those pictures.

Please take note that effective March 23, 2019, as mandated by the U.S. Center for SafeSport:

•All USA Water Ski & Wake Sports board members are required to complete the SafeSport Training and Certification

•All sport discipline organizations’ board members are required to complete the SafeSport Training and Certification

•All Team USA athletes and staff (manager, coach, physician/trainer and support staff) age 18+ participating in an international event are required to complete a background check and complete the SafeSport Training and Certification

•All Team USA athletes age 17+ participating in an international event are required (with parental consent) to complete the SafeSport Training and Certification

The existing requirement for all show directors and assistant show directors to undergo a background check and complete SafeSport Training and Certification remains in effect.

Always enjoy watching some old time trick runs. Amazing they could run 10000+ with very few flips. Now some guys have 6 flips and cannot run 10000. Also enjoy the variations and not the same six flips. Cory, Nick, and Patrice--GREAT.

 

I have said it for several years now. "Roll to Revert" should not exist in the trick event. Keep it in the wake board event. It does not help the education of tricks for the trick event. Tyler does great for the trick event.

When they were "young", Freddie Krueger and Jay Woodland (tricker only) would run the slalom course "together" (that is at the same time behind the boat) and run into very short line. It was amazing to see them work together around the buoys.

As a former promo guy from the 80's and 90's with Nautique and MC, thanks should be given to the promo guys that haul their boats to the tourneys. I wish them all well because it isn't that easy.
