  1. @The_MS Yes, I have one. Mine is a standard size. The Radar website appears to show size options for the aluminium plate.
  2. Try RoHo I have ordered quite a bit of kit from them over the years. I think they ship pretty much anywhere. In the alternative, I am happy to get some and post them to you. Failing that I'm in the States 30 March, if that is not too late?
  3. It you can get these in the States they work well. They let water flush across the inside, through the holes, on a deep water start. That means they lenses are clear and pretty much stay that way.
  4. @blagrata I am afraid you cannot. The feather frame is an integral part of the binding.
  5. I am a fan of the HRT. Like @MS I had a lace up and then the Boa, although I waited until it came out on the aluminium frame https://perfski.com/ski/slaloms/waterski-bindings/radar-2019-hrt-boa-aluminum-plate-standard.html You can offset the binding to whatever degree you want as with any other binding on an aluminium plate. The lace version does feel a bit firmer. I have had no problems releasing from either.
  6. Chief driver Vince Turp GBR Driver Jeff Gilbert USA Driver Mark Burridge GBR Driver Tony Cise GBR I was too busy taking the photograph - the drivers for the tournament are listed as above. This was before buoy 1, FW is just about to appear from behind the right hand side of the windscreen.
  7. @Deep11 Yes he did. This is the best I could get.
  8. @horton the instagram photos on BoS and elsewhere show Pigozzi on top of the podium and FW in second.
  9. http://www.iwwfed-ea.org/competition.php?cc=T-19FRA028&page=all_s5_slalom_results Does the actual result have any impact on the debate?
  10. My wife very much has enjoyed her HO Women's Omni Carbon 65". She is a little smaller than you but skis at slower speeds. I am sure @savaiusini can help as to sizing.
  11. Thank you for facilitating a transnational debate and providing such insightful support for a wonderful [and addictive] sport.
  12. So many people from around the world died. In the North of England the men from the same town or village served together for companionship. It meant that they died on the same day when the whistle blew for them to go over the top of the trench ... In the village where I grew up there were large poppies attached to lamp posts with the names of those who died and the date they were killed. At the Tower of London thousands of flames were lit:
  13. @Horton @MS @Dirt ... or fake news ...
  14. @Jaypro I am pleased things have worked out so well. Are you on a single or double boot with MOBS? I'd be interested to know what your actual set up is, including which front binding and which rear binding/rtp you are using.
  15. @jipster43 agreed. @slvrbulit agreed, @brooks has been great to me, as has @savaiusini who has been exceptional. We are very fortunate.
  16. Another nod for roho - George will sort you out. He imported a Women's HO Omni Carbon for my wife as there were none in the UK. They do both HO and Radar and take payments in euros if that helps. Perfski are brilliant ant shipping stuff - but even they cannot make taxes vanish [the shipping was not too expensive].
  17. Hey, we watched it live in the UK with an IPA, wine and supper. Great to be able to do so. Thank you!!!
  18. All great skis and I am sure different skiers will have different favourites. As posted previously, I enjoy my Omni Syndicate and I ski on it better than I did on my previous ski. Enjoy choosing and then skiing on the ski you settle on.
  19. A small but necessary replacement part immediately was shipped to the UK by Express Service. Thank you @brooks again.
  20. If you can, ditch the shorts and use a short wetsuit/wetsuit shorts [RipCurl ones have a neoprene edge at the bottom of the legs which is great for not taking on water!]. As @vernonreeve suggests use a slightly wider ski, really buoyant vest, straight arms and keep the handle low [on the ski] until you are up. Good luck, we are all cheering for you.
