  1. Usually ski 2-3 times a week, 2 sets each time April-Oct.
  2. Just do some weight training or workout straps. Pull-ups, back and core! Shouldn't be too bad after a month, don't do so much work, let the boat:)
  3. Yes there are two in the Redmond area. The one is as Ralph said, and the other is the one they just put in that is NE of Bend off the old BR highway, however it is in a lawsuit and the homeowners don't want it there. I guess we will see if they ever finish filling it. Any others are a trek from there in Medford or PDX area.
  4. So cool! Loved seeing Idaho Nationals on a whole episode! Great to see all of our upcoming rippers and especially ones that ski at the lake we go to! Thanks @MarcusBrown
  5. Well after skiing my tourney this weekend, get rid of the nerves and just ski to bomb through the course. I should have done another opener but didn't. Gonna redeem myself this weekend! Ski like it is practice.
  6. My wife skis on a lyric with lyric front boot and rtp. She loves it.
  7. My wife loves to ski the course and is almost making all 6. She has a ton of drive, however she just loves it for fun because she bases it around getting hurt. We have two girls, I travel, and if she gets hurt then we would have some issues. Our who family has a passion for skiing which is awesome, I am just the tourney goer. She is my favorite boat driver, not to mention my little girls staring at me from the observer seat!
  8. Two boats people can afford. Wish ski boats were the same way. Oh well, guess I will always buy used:)
  9. Take them to a waterski lake and get them away from all the wakeboard boats and lazy mindset of surfing. All it takes is people like you and I who have daughters and get them out there on skis with older girls as their roles models at the lake. My oldest (5) looks up to a 12 year old at our lake who is a ripper! Once they improve they will be hooked just like any boy or man. Once skiers, always skiers.... The whole family:)
  10. Add a heavier return spring. Do not put another on, it will be to much force on your servo motor. Also, back off your servo tension and then reset it per the manual. Check your throttle cable and make sure it is t worn, this will cause sticking as well.
  11. For me it is my passion. I love being out on the water, improving everyday, watching my girls have a safe place to learn and continue the tradition of skiing. It is my time to enjoy what God made for me to be a baller! Oh and fun exercise also!!! The community is great to be around also.
  12. @sunvalleylaw There is a couple tourneys at Gilbert Lake in Middleton on Labor Day weekend and the weekend after if he wants to come watch some of us run. Can always tell you to watch terry winter's videos on YouTube as well. Great info and form!
  13. Just skied behind a CP two days ago for the first time and it is by far the one of the best wakes ever! Have yet to drive one, but have heard they take a little more to drive. After skiing behind it, that will be my next boat for sure!
  14. @jetpilotg4 I have a couple videos if you want them.
  15. Yes please! Bring Nationals back to us! Great job by the crew and everyone that worked so hard.
  16. I have a 1992 centurion falcon I ski behind and the wake is minimal. Haven't skied a CP yet but want to. As for the 200's and Prostars mine is not that much different considering the technology. Guys that ski newer boats have skied behind mine and said there is more, I just tell them they are stuck up... Just kidding ha ha
  17. I ski with a RTP and it all depends on how the setup and comfort is. My plate is up against the front boot plate. Best advice, install and ski and find where it feels the best, just have your tools handy. Same procedure for adjusting fin settings or anything. Good luck!
  18. Hey! I live in meridian and ski at a different site, but the parking isn't too far I don't believe at broadside. Not sure if you are camping or if you are staying in a hotel? Caldwell is not the greatest place at all, but Meridian is great, and Boise as well. You can find nice places in Nampa also. And yes, Barbacoa is a must, my favorite place by far. The whitewater rafting on the north and south fork of the payette is awesome depending on what you want, but the fires in IC are putting a damper on the south fork side. Message me if you would like to know more.
  19. You could drive to Othello and talk to the koreis's at there lake. Skipond.com or Moses lake has a couple. A little bit of a drive but doable. Tate is next to koreis lake also.
  20. I have a 92 centurion falcon and it is awesome to ski behind with a super flat wake. Our perfect pass is a little dated, but very nice to train behind. I will have a newer CP or Prostar one day.....,
