  1. I use a 69 inch outlaw ski at 26 mph and 15 off. easy up and good to 32mph (me 30max) Great learning ski forgives a lot and can still do the balls. I started with a skinny ski and had all kinds of trouble both getting up and making cuts. this ski solved that. I am not great but I love this sport and having this ski helped me progress. When I get better I will look for a more advanced type of ski.
  2. I had both my knee done ( total replacement) in 2014 at age 67. Started skiing again in 2015 still ski when ever I can 2 to 3 times per week and love it. I am now 72. The knees have not given me any problem and surgeon said all was great on check up and I had skied that morning. So get your surgery DO the EXERCISES TO GET KNEE MOBILE. and get back to skiing.
  3. Holley carbs can be fixed with a good Kit from Holley just follow instructions and it will work great again. be sure to do a good job of cleaning parts and blowing them out before reassembly. If the carb was on the boat originally it will not require any changes. Send Holley the numbers on the upper front throat and they will supple the correct kit.
  4. checked out the 1994 ski nautique. Owner changed ignition to distributor and it is carbureted. Ran will steering bit stiff. Skied it at 28 and 30 great for me. Working out some issues with registration. May or may not workout.
  5. Has any body have ski time behind this type of boat. I am skiing at 15 off and 26 MPH.

Hopefully I will get better and get to 22 off and 30mph.

I believe the boat produces a good wake at 34 mph.

I can get an affordable one in Canada not many choices up here.

Mastercraft of that age are not available unless I go to US which means double the advertised price for me.

  6. Made my first full course pass June 15th,2019 on Connelly outlaw ski at 15 off and 26 mph. I was skiing behind my sons centurion falcon boat. I have been skiing with my sons for 4 years and slowly getting better. Thanks to their patients and coaching. I skied this winter with Erickski and he helped by coaching as will. Love skiing and attempting to improve
