  1. 2016 Radar Boys TRA

Signed by a few skiers/coaches (JMAC, Whitney, Arthur Havas)

Can be purchased blank, or with various binding options including:

Radar Prime Small - 2 options, like new or used (rubber deteriorating)

Radar Vector Room 38 Small - very cool limited edition boot like new

    Radar ARTP - like new

Always kept in a bag, out of sun. No fading, no marks, perfect used example.

This ski was a bday present for my (at the time) 10 yr old son, who cherished it and sought out the signatures and coaching along with them. It's nostalgia is priceless to him, however it sits unused and he'd rather see it go to someone who will cherish it as he did.

Open to offers that reflect it's story and its new home (and choice of binding configuration).

  2. Bump and will entertain reasonable offers:

2021 Radar Vapor Lithium 67" - Staining on bottom(dye from Ski Bag), bought in July 2021

Radar Vector Front Boot - Room 38 edition, Size Small

Radar Prime Front Boot, 2019 Size Small - maybe used 6 times looks new

Radar Rear Vector Boot - Blue - Size Large- well used

  3. Run autocal again, and/or check that your baselines are accurate. Especially if they haven't been done in a while or you have done anything in terms of engine tune up, prop. Even changing out our (very) dirty fuel filter changed mine enough to notice.

GPS pucks have newer firmware? The week rollover issue causes all kinds of weirdness.

That all aside, yup drop Ball 3 to 35.

You can see some settings in this chart that others have documented:

  4. 63" TRA carried my boys from 10yrs old to current 16 & 14 yrs old. I was gifted a 66" Vapor Pro and the 16yr old is having his first runs on it now and loves it. we're yet to hit the course yet on the vapor but he was running 30-33mph 15'off previously consistently and was just starting to get into 22'off passes.
  5. If your prefect pass is working on your carb boat now, adding zbox will be simple. Most tuning will be in the ball settings, which is determined by mapping and not the zbox.

I don't have experience mapping with a river, but I think you would have to have a major shift in the course for the gates to be that far off. Seems the tolerance of the mapping trigger is fairly wide.

  6. Both will start the boat... AGM tends to last longer in marine environments as they are less susceptible to vibration degradation.

In the ski boat, where we do a lot or startups, and minimal sitting with the stereo on, I like the OPTIMA Marine Blue Top Starting battery. Its going on 6+ years of frequent use and shows no sign of age.

In my other boat, that is a point and shoot speedboat that may only start a couple times an outing, and has a very large stereo that plays music for long periods, I use the EXIDE Edge AGM Dual Purpose (x2) for their ability to start and deep discharge.

  7. I'm also suffering from this injury, 4 tears in my right and 2 if I recall in my left. Nearly every step of the way has had delays (MRI, CT, appointments), so I'm almost 2 years from first surgeons visit, and around 5 years when it started to bother me.

So I'm both curious to the surgery, as well as someone sort of in the middle of the process. Last week I had my first cortisone injection, and the results are certainly much less fatigue and some strength recovered. My free skiing (course not yet installed) has been much improved and way less skiing fatigue. Surgery is planned for the fall.

  8. I made a switch to Radar Pulse boots last year from Vectors and was always bothered by the front boot, and how it looked like it was slightly biased to the big toe side. There were no alignment marks, so the binding was just mounted in the center of the adjustment slots.

I ran my PB with that setup on a Senate at the time, then after a series of events (broke ski, crashed, torn bicep tendon)switched to a Vapor and struggled with it. This spring, I rotated the front binding in the adjustment slots to be more "straight" at the toes. I'm LFF, so it was just a very slight twist to the left. Looking at the ski, the toes are visually "straight" looking on the ski now. Now I'm also a bit duck footed.

The ski was instantly better, and while our course isn't in yet, I'm free skiing worlds better then last year, with more control and better confidence.

Perhaps I misunderstood front binding alignment, but now with that ever so slight rotation, its much better.

  9. I free skied the S Series this weekend, and it felt really good. I'm suffering a torn bicep tendon and tried this rope hoping it would be easier on my injury. The softer rope helped for sure and it felt like I had delayed, but faster acceleration. I really like it so far.
  10. There was an update necessary to the GPS pucks a couple years ago. While it seems odd that it hasn't caused concern for you over the last 2 years, prior to updating ours, the system would exhibit very odd behaviour.

Most of our behaviour was long GPS locking times, but it also did strange things to surging, dropping GPS signal randomly, and poor system performance. Once updated all was cured, and performance actually seemed to be enhanced.

If you don't have that update, I would recommend it and perhaps follow with a system reset and remap.
