  1. @dbaconaz if you’re looking for a good open water, family friendly boat, there are much better options than a mid-2000’s 205. A friend of mine had one, I spend a good deal of time in it, and it’s pretty underwhelming in comparison to Sunsetter LXi, Nautique, even a Supra 20SSV does most things as well or better, including skiing. Just my .02.
  2. Kerri Walsh Jennings’ name has got to be on the list. Had two kids in between Olympics 2 and 3 (2 golds prior) and won a third Olympic Gold while pregnant with kid number three.
  3. You should be able to find something, but be ready to jump on something quick and potentially open to compromise. I can’t speak for where you are, but in Alberta it is slim pickins. Not even close to what is normally available.

    Re-power

Not to steal the thread, but it’s been 3 years since I’ve heard anything about the Indmar Ecoboost. I’m genuinely curious if it has been put in a ski boat yet, or just jet boats.
  5. I got a fizzics beer tap. That’s a skiing gift, right?

    Gauge issues

@BTheis mine did the same thing but with the fuel. I took a friends out of their boat to see. It was the gauge for sure. I ended up replacing it.
  7. Hey Guys, Anyone out at Gull Lake? Going for a couple of days. Bringing the boat for the family, but won’t be skiing unless someone wants to go with me.
  8. There will be some that fit you. But the question is, how comfortable are you in the water with one? How are your drivers? How hard do you fall when you crash? They’re comfortable to wear, but if you’re fine in you pfd, no need to switch.
  9. @skimtb that really depends on where you’re starting, but a 12kg, 16kg, 20kg and 24kg will provide a huge range of different exercises with different loads.
  10. Kettlebells and suspension straps. Then go to strongfirst.com.
  11. @aspski a Supra 20 SSV is one of the best I’ve seen. It also surfs really, really well. Better than our friend’s VLX.
  12. @aspski Ben, why did you sell it?
  13. I had to replace the 4 gauge cluster on my 2000 RLx. For me it was just the gauge itself, not the computer. It isn’t a cheap replacement, but it worked. Perfect pass is easy, do that for sure.
  14. @TB29 you should have been there that day.
  15. @jpattigr yes that is rockyview. I live way closer to predator, but $$$ ha ha.
  16. @jpattigr I was just planning on skiing yours when we get down there.
  17. @skispray the course is 35 min from my house and I get out as much as I can while I’m home. Our vacation lake is 6 hours away and there aren’t any courses near us on the lake, and we have a morning ski group of about 10 usually so we stay close.
  18. So with not being able to go to our regular lake across the border, it was all course skiing this year at the club. With no open water, I was finally able to get a consistent 6 at 30mph and 15off. Guess I should just ski the course more.
  19. I’ve always found heated seats in boats very underwhelming.
