Well that was clear as mud😂 I’m on my 6 or 7th vapor and wanted to try the NEO2.  
Should have my 24 soon and go from there.  I’m hearing good things 

Are they too tight to wear liners underneath?

@gavski. You can always drill out the rivets then replace the with screws to put it back together.   Just don’t cut anything.  Remove the whole toe piece.  Only thing with that option is more of the liner being exposed but whatever

Remove the side screws and either 

1.  Have to drill out the rivets on bottom of toe piece and remove the entire toe …or

2.  Cut off the top of the toe piece and leave the bottom without drilling out the rivets.   
 

otherwise you can’t lower the reflex release back far enough to get the front boot in.  There are pics somewhere on this site of some examples

You’ll have to cut the toe on the rear Vapor boot to fit up snug to the front reflex mechanism.  Easy mod .

@Gtew what size are you looking for in a vest?  I have a brand new XL Eagle I’d like to get rid off.   It’s the men’s black camo vest.   It’s my second Eagle vest and love it but I slimmed down to a size Large instead so this one needs to go.   Has never seen water.

@DW Ive been meaning to post pics of this very topic.  Ive used all kinds of reflex set ups and recently picked up a Reflex super shell 8.o.  The boot has the new carbon U bracket which doesn't really sit flat on the plate. It seems to cause extra tension and when the boot is clipped in the front of the plate really bends upward.   Was wondering whether to send it back or not.  So I guess this normal?

The reflex liners suck in my opinion.   The Intuition liner is super comfy out of the box and feel it fits the hardshell exponentially better.

How is the for/aft adjustment capabilities? For those of us running a Mikro-just its hard to beat 1/16 movement for setting Bf.

If you’re border line between a 65 and 67 would you go up or down? I guess you can tune the 67 to feel shorter. But a shorter ski is nice too

The pad on the reflex can easily be ripped up and replaced

Was waiting on reviews for this. Review above said not enough grip on footbed? Easily replaced with some surf pad. I made custom toe kicker and the surf pad is perfect grip.

@Horton so you’re running basically long/shallow #’s except 1/4 forward on the boots. I’m running somewhere in between S/D and L/S at 29 3/8s (On a 66). I’ve enjoyed Cole Gs numbers but may slide Bf back a touch.

@Horton. Are you running stock settings with the new Vapor boots? Im on the same set up but just recently dropped the back boot for a home made rear toe kicker with added heel cup. Dropping the weight and drag off the rear has really changed the ski for me. Fast as snot with less effort. Running Cole G's 2022 numbers and digging it. I don't notice too much difference on the 23, but I would support previous comments about it being slightly smoother.

If nothing else the music on the video gets you amped up to ski..
