  1. Yes my mistake, it is an air nautique 216.
  2. My mistake it is a 216 and yes it is a Direct Drive. It is an air nautique 216 signature.
  3. To me when I rode the senate it felt like if I leaned even a little left or right the ski wanted to turn and go that way. With the Connelly and HO I felt I would lean but I didn’t feel the ski wanting to turn? I think that’s what I would say is aggressive but I could be completely wrong.
  4. I might have a really good deal on a 2003 SA Nautique 210. It is a DD with the 330 pcm I believe. The boat has around 200 hours. Am I going to get major hate for skiing behind this? I am not super familiar with the hull design but assume the hull is a wakeboard hull? I have skied behind a 97’ ski nautique and not much gets better than that. How would this compare to a 97’ sport nautique? I have also ridden behind one of those. I do have to say I will be wakeboarding at times for the fiancé. If we can get it to surf we will do that as well, but I am being selfish and worrying about my ski wake on this hull. Would love some input on this. Thanks!
  5. Yeah I skied the omega max over the weekend and it felt very similar to my Connelly. It did feel faster. But I didn’t notice much more aggression. What would you guys suggest if I want more aggression? @lpskier@ETskier@escmanaze
  6. I am looking for some opinions on boats. This is going to be a lot so here we go. I need the boat to hold a decent amount of people 4-6. I mainly ski but would like to wakeboard and possibly surf for others. That would be if there is enough weight and people. I have ridden behind a 97’ sport nautique and the ski wake was good but had some rooster tail. The steering also I have heard is tight on those. I liked the engine because it was fuel injected. I love @escmanaze 97’ ski nautique, the wake is small and nice. I would possibly need it to be slightly bigger for more people sadly. I also have considered a 97’ ski centurion elite bowrider or elite air warrior (don’t know the difference) I was also considering a MC Prostar or a sport star (don’t know the difference). A 97’ Malibu sunsetter, 98’ sunsetter lx (don’t know the difference) and then last a 96’ tige comp ski fslm, or a 99’ tige 2200I. I know that’s a lot of boats but, those are my options I have seen under $20,000. I would prefer a dd for the wake, and ease of maintenance. This would be my first boat so let me know your opinions. Thanks for the read.
  7. @MDB1056 thank you for your comments and opinion! I have really liked my Connelly ski so I should try something on the higher end. I think they make good products.
  8. @richfosterI am running 30-32mph at 15 off. I need to get out more often.😂
  9. @BufootinI am about 60% course and 40% free ski. When I am with my uncle @escmanazeI run course. I would like to run the course more, But I have limited opportunities through the year.
  10. So I am in the process of buying a new Slalom Ski. I am an amateur at best but love to ski. I run the course about 60% of the time and open water ski 40% of the time. I currently am riding a 2017 Connelly V, I do like the ski but I am interested in something new. I have considered upgrade info to a carbon v, the carbon omega max, and possibly a radar senate. I demoed a carbon Omni and liked how fast it was, but I did not like the back tail. It was too high in the water. I wasn’t able to dig around the bouy. That’s why I thought the carbon omega max would be a better choice. I work for a local boat shop they carry ho and Connelly if I want. The sales guys say Connelly hasn’t changed things in years with the build and shape of the ski. Maybe someone could give me a bit of advice on what ski to look into. Thanks!
