@EricW We have been going there for 18 years and just got back 1st week of August. I only saw a course about 3 times in all those years....Searched around this year and asked the marinas. Nothing to be found. I'm seriously considering buying a used portable course to take next year. It is hard to believe a lake that nice with smaller coves doesn't have anyone maintaining a course.. @escmanaze FWIW I bought one last year mid season. Did some 28mph & 30mph 15off passes on it and it was super stable and predictable. I regularly ski at 32 & 34mph 15 & 22off. Got a PB my 3rd set on it. Really looking forward to getting back on it this year. We are a couple weeks away from getting back out there.

If it were all red with white rally stripes it might work for me.... Otherwise.. meh...

@CPC_1 There is a 97' Malibu Response 560hrs on Ski it again 12k Just got posted today. This is a friends brother. I haven't personally seen it. I believe the boat is in storage near Dekalb, IL

Spring and fall it's hit or miss. Summer months it is packed! Midwest region.

@jhughes I have to admit that I think the same sometimes.... Our recreational ski lake has a course and allows us to use it on weekends where other boats have to yield for us until 10am. We actively promote 3 event skiing with all of the kids on the lake. Because of this, there is now 4-5 boats waiting in line for sets every weekend morning. We are very lucky to have access to water like this. In my opinion, access to "good" water is the number one problem for the growth of our sport. Many states have plenty of public lakes... But many more do not.

@Bill22 I saw that too! Has to be a typo!! Bought my super clean low hour 2013 TXI 2 seasons ago for 15K less.... And at the time I thought I was crazy.....lol... Maybe his wife said to sell the boat but he's not ready too.....

The stuff I use said -50 F. I always pull all my plugs and drain after I suck it in. Just an extra precaution. Some guys leave it in the motor but not me... And don't forget the heater hose if you have one.

Question: What should the top speed for a 2013 Malibu TXI? It has a new 5.7 Monsoon. I am only getting 41-42mph with just a couple people in boat. I bought this boat last year from a dealer with full warranty from Jasper on a brand new motor. (Dealer said the previous owner had oil filter double gasketed and came off and they kept going until it blew) Hole shot seems good, motor sounds like it is running smooth, but feel top end should be at least 43-44? Any experts out there that can verify this?

Carbon-V is a higher grade ski than you may realize. It is a little wider but it rips! Just got mine last weekend and skied my current PB the 1st 2 sets on it. Stable comfortable and fast.

@Mazda I'm sure that 99% of the people on this forum (including myself) agree with @LaurenMorgan and her well written post. It is a very serious subject and should have zero tolerance.. I commend her for posting it. In response to your "new fin or new ski excited responses" comment, this a subject that most of us shouldn't comment on without knowing exactly what happened. That is the sad part... He obviously did cross a line and was disciplined for it but many of us have no idea what the circumstances and facts are. I'm sure his discipline was probably not sufficient.... Should he of been banned? Most people can't comment on that due to lack of information. I agree - shame on them for not releasing all the facts... There are a lot of scumballs in this world. I now assume he is one of them. BUT- without knowing facts of what happened, how do we speak out against him and his sponsors specifically?

@GZ22 If you like Radar products, I would get the Senate Pro. It surfs great at 30-34 mph. You don't even need much wake either.

Anyone have access for a practice pull near by on Weds or Thursday? A friend of mine, @Doug0404 is looking for practice pulls for his daughter. PM him if anyone can hook him up.

@bojans Thanks! That area of the lake is real nice.... Probably too far to be practical but I may go look for it at least one of the days we are there.

@Bongo - Thanks- I must of saw your course. It was awhile ago... Thanks for the leads. Buck creek is far... but maybe take a day tour to find it.

Been vacationing at Bull Shoals Lake Arkansas for years and going there next week. Saw a course up in Sister Creek Area a couple of times but haven't seen anything in years. Are there any ballers out there who know if anyone has one and where they are using it? I would be more than happy to contribute to the buoy fund if someone knows. Thanks!
