  1. @Dysco Since it’s your thread, and you went there...?

Wall mounted battery chargers; and you could adapt these custom bars to wall mount tools as well. They leverage the tool’s belt hook. Don’t forget 3D printed battery holders - sweet. (Amazon finds!)

( @cougfan - as if the food, drinks and brotherhood weren’t enough to make a guy beg for an invite...you’ve got a Carbon V in your archive? ?PS: Huskies suck. ?)

  3. Reinforcing what was stated above about TALKING to a few coaches before you commit. Effective communication is the foundation of any productive relationship, especially that of coach/athlete. I’d prepare a list of questions/topics intended to give me a better sense of how well we connect, ie:

    1. Describe your coaching style.

    2. Name, in order, your top 3 skills/things a skier must improve/master...and YOUR key(s) to making each happen.

    3. Can you recall an example or two where you had a struggling or ‘stuck’ student, and how you broke them free to continue progressing?

    4. Here’s where my skiing is ‘at’ and ‘here’s’ where I want to go; what will you/we do that will help me get there?!

If you can chat with a few former students, even better - to learn how their reality lived up to expectations...or didn’t!

While you will get several ‘same’ answers from coaches and students alike, I expect you’ll here enough differences to help you assess compatibility and make a more educated choice.

  4. Double bummer. My mileage varies...

Austin and H2O served me well on my past orders. And I bought a ‘New in Box’ Wakeye from a fellow Baller that was missing a few screws and pieces of the collar tape. Wakeye graciously mailed (free) spare bits promptly, though I didn’t get them for nearly a month...? Because he translated Vancouver, WA and sent them to Vancouver CANADA. The envelope looked pretty tired when it arrived. ?

  5. Tip #1 is for your driver: straighter is better. Don’t follow the curve of the shoreline, rather pick a point on the far shore and drive at it; at the end of that line make a turn or adjustment to pick out the next target...

When you’re getting slack consistently on one side, look behind at the wash trail; lonnnng banana shape is not good. If you have to follow a pattern on your lake (ie all skiers go clockwise), after one lap it’ll be a mess but you want the boat path lines to have formed a hexagon versus a circle eh?

  6. Found all 3 of these on Amazon; designed for scuba gear yet perfect for a baller/ballerette. Things I really like about them:

    Virtually indestructible

Supports wetsuits and vests better than regular hangs

Helps gear dry more quickly before car transport

The funky ones hold a lot of gear - besides what’s shown think ropes, extra gloves and liners, spray legs (for you kittens ?), neo beanie, nunchucks...

The Fold-up one is great for traveling ballers
