If you are by Snowbasin you need fo ski at powder mountain as well. It’s the local ski resort not too far from Snowbasin and absolutely awesome. It’s no frills compared to Snowbasin but the snow won’t disappoint .

Can you make the shirts in a softer fabric? The BOS shirts I bought previously are a little scratchy.

@"Pat M" Jeff and Patty are super nice. I spoke with them at the show. My parents know them from way back on Secord lake in mid-Michigan. Somewhere my mom has a picture of Jeff slalom skiing with my little brother, who was maybe 2 at the time on his shoulders.

@Orlando76 that looks so much better compared to the previous pic with all the staples. I hope the “cankle” goes away with time. On a different subject the t-shirts will be ready for pickup on the 5th. This is for @Orlando76 and @DaveD .?.

@jetpilotg4 are your symptoms only present while skiing? Or is it any exercise based exertion? While I can’t speak for skiing with COPD I do have Cystic Fibrosis and my lung function is in the low 40’s. I am huffing and puffing and coughing quite a bit at the end of each pass, however, I know that skiing is great for my lungs. The skiing helps to open them up, and allows me to take deeper breaths. I would say that continuing to ski won’t hurt you but can only help you.

@Orlando76 boat rides are the best. Both of your boys look relaxed. My parents had my brother and i in the boat from an early age and to this day, it is my favorite place to be. I am so glad your son is home and I hope things get easier. There are so many great medications coming down the pipeline for CF. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask me. Last year I raised $5600 for CF research , this was our team shirt.

@Orlando76 , you need to stay active as much as you can. This will become especially important as your sons grow. Has your youngest been able to come home from the hospital? Showing your kids an active lifestyle is the best gift you can them. This is especially important for your son with CF. The more active he is, the healthier he will be. Being active keeps the nasty bacteria that we grow in our lungs down. At the moment I am sitting here hanging 2 IV bags per dose/ 3 times a day to combat the pseudomonas that is in my lungs and that is currently causing a CF exacerbation. The oral antibiotics weren’t doing the job so home IV’s it is. But I have been lucky, because I have always been active I didn’t need IV’s until I was 40. I know you are in pain and miserable right now but please remain active if not for yourself than for your kids.

@sixball , my parents had a place on Secord for 25 years. The state of Wixom lake is a travesty. Boyce needs to pull his head out of his rear and restore your lake.

Because I possibly like my slalom ski more than some of my extended family, it and my daughters slalom ski rest in their bags in a closet in the basement. My sons combos and the O’Brien Tournament 2000 kneeboard my brother got for his 12th birthday in 1989 are in the attic over the garage.

The brother in law took us skeet shooting. I think I will stick to skiing.

He was also spotted on the slopes.

@MISkier no jumping off of a building. You do that and I won’t have anyone to talk to at work about water skiing, and then I really will be “Violent K”..

Spin classes and the kids and I snow ski. I try to make it out west once a year. Usually ski snowbasin and powder mountain in Utah.

I have a CWB pullover vest. Fits great, comfortable . However getting it on over my Camaro full wetsuit is a PITA.
