I have been doing this the past month as a 30-32mph skier. Really like it. For head wind, I hold my pull for a 5 count, tail wind 3 count, best gates I have had in a while

This is a nice boat. Owner of Lake Koreis (now Stella Blue) in E WA had one and it was such a nice ski tug. Glad I don't live closer & need a boat!!

@bananaronit may be perfect, but if it's not PRISTINE I will have to take a hard pass!!

@bananaronI have about 10 sets on my 13" bent; nice grip/feel, hope it lasts a long time cuz I really like it!

I'm just a 15 off, 30-32mph guy, but the syndicate & D3 are not going to be happy at your current speeds. I would start free skiing at 30-32mph with your coach guidence, then may no slower that 28 in the course. You are probably also seeing monster wakes at those slower speeds. I am on an HO 2017 Superlite CX; I can run the course at 28mph but way more effort than 30, and 32 a fun spped when I'm skiing well.

What ski are you using?

@MitchellM you might ask over at Malibucrew if you have not done yet - lots of posts about guages over there

I am a 60 year old small animal veterinarian, married, 2 adult kids (both recently moved home to "reevaluate life"). Started skiing with my best friend in 1977; still ski with him every Wed at Bow Lake. Have added Hilltop lake in the last year and BOS as well! The older I get the better I ski - just hope my old body hangs in there for a few more years. You guys make me smile and look forward to another ski every day - keep it up!
Wow, 5 yrs goes by fast! Now 65, kids have moved out (HOORAY) got a new left hip Jan '23. Lost our lease at Bow but still love skiing at HT. I look forward to visiting BOS several times a day - you guys/gals are my ski family and I am privileged to be part of this very special group. Maybe someday you will teach me to ski!!

@MearlyI was waiting for someone to make that comment - in '95 my Sanger was approx $20k and my HO VTX was a closeout steal at about $200. Stuff costs more, I get it.
Animal Binding Repair
in Skis Fins Bindings
Posted
I have double Animals with the rear white laces (2018 model). Started skiing yesterday and noticed on my front boot the rubber overlay that wraps around and is part of the laces had torn out in front. Don't see any OEM replacements. Anyone deal with this - other repair options. Have been on these a long time and very comfortable, would rather not change as I am old and stubborn.
Thanks, Red
