  1. There may be a club south of Iowa city, but I havnt heard much from about 5 years.
The water hawks are a great club, and they have show ski there as well. It’s a blast to ski and hang out for a Friday evening.

  2. As a SNOB owner I really like the size. Has  the same storage as the CB version and the wake is identical. The only draw back is the helm is closer to the engine cover, so it’s tighter for ski storage behind the driver.
With a family the playpen is a great place for the cooler, snack bag, and other bag while out riding. once anchored it’s a fun spot to nap as others have stated.

  3. @Kevin89MC I'm with you on fresh in the spring. I stabilize whatever is in the tank and fill up with fresh in the spring. Worked great with the pro sport 5.0 efi I had. We will see if it holds true for the 409 in it now. We're usually down at least 5 months here in Iowa.

  4. I’ve had one for a few years. The PP took some dialing in and it was basically drop the hammer on everyone out of the hole.It was easy running and never gave me any trouble though.Really love the 409 that we dropped in last winter though.

  5. Put in at state park. About 10 min ride to little cow Creek. Nice cove with a course on one side. Can always how down to Cricket Creek marina and hit the long quiet coves down that way for free ski that's protected.
  6. I have a Yakima skybox I believe. Once it’s set up it goes on and off quick(5 min) by myself. Now that we have a suburban though it never leaves its spot in the garage. I’d let it go fairly cheep if anyone near central Iowa needs one.
  7. @astrick You nailed it. Jody is right, to get the tank out you have to pull at least one combing pad and rotate it out. I still have to disconnect the fuel fill line and the straps to block it up and get to the rudder, but I can do it by myself.

After a few times I can get it down to about an hr for the rudder service and steering cable check/ maintenance.

  8. Yep. May look around and see if there is any other that might be a good match with this setup. I’m interested in a 3 blade option but i haven’t looked into it much yet
