The issue I’ve had with the 2000-2002 bubble butt over the 97-99 is the difference in the fuel tank. The 2000+ have a more horizontal fuel tank that limits the access to the rudder.
-
Having tackled this before, in my 2000, It’s possible to get to the rudder assembly without removing the tank. You have to remove the carpeted cover over it. Next you have to loosen the straps that hold down the tank, and remove them (3/8 socket I believe).
Then take some blocks and lift and block up the tank do you can get under it to reach the rudder assembly ( much easier with little to no gas in the tank).
I do this each year to grease my rudder and check the linkage.
It’s involved, but worth doing yourself if it saves you $800. Then I’m also the guy that took on the Repower myself in my garage.

Sounded like it was an extra cash prize that a local ski shop and GM marine put on.
I’m not sure why Joel didn’t participate, but maybe he was letting the guys who spent a lot on their trip out have a shot at it.

I assume this is the tow boat there.

Being a child in the 80s, (Bo Knows) is a significant memory, if not a career cut short this might be different, but I must say though the dominant performance that Michael Jordan would have on the biggest stage has him top for me.

If there was Brittney shirt I’d buy 5. One for each day of work

I try to stay in shape. I am going down to Florida next week for 7 days of skiing. I haven’t skied since November 15th but I have gotten a lot of good work done in the past (even though I’m not in ski shape).

Here we are a year later. Just ordered my 6.0 409. I’m going to be 15k plus incidentals and doing the swap with some buddies.
I’ll post some photos of how it goes. With the price of zero off boats still high and the shape my 2000 ski is in I can run this one for a long time and still be $ ahead. Plus I’ll have a 0 hr drive train with new controls it will feel like a new boat. I won’t have to worry about how the last owner took care of the first 1600 hrs on it.

Going out tomorrow in Iowa. Been in the 20s overnight but we get up to 60 tomorrow.

Or you cut your finger mostly off in November, but have lessons at TBC in January, so you do 3 finger pull-ups to make sure you have the strength to make it through the week

@Wish and the best way to check, of course, is to ski ?
