  1. The Goode Wide ride is a great ski but has a traditional width tail and not really much easier to get up on. The OMNI is very easy to get up on and feels like a sports car.
  2. Do the Radar team skiers use them yet? Seems like many still use Masterline or In-Tow.
  3. Grab a 67" HO Syndicate OMNI and don't look back, you will love it. The OMNI is very easy to get up on, fast, turns without thinking and is a very capable course ski through 32' off and beyond. The OMNI has clean edge technology in the tail which is how it can be a little wider in the tail but still perform like a normal slalom ski.
  4. Get the HO Carbon or Syndicate Omni and don't look back, best ski out there for most people in my opinion. Easy to get up on, turns without thinking, fast, and a very capable course ski through 32' off.
  5. @jtompkins120 did you get the video uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo?
  6. Nice skiing, when you get the 67" Omega you will like it even better! For your weight and speed the new 67" Omega Max will be worth a try as well.
  7. Only the price was a epic fail. If the price was comparable to the ProStar/Response then I'm sure many more would have been sold in 2019-2020. Nautique and especially Malibu will be looking up at MasterCraft in the three event world until they come out with something better.
  8. That is too bad @savaiusini Some people like double hardshells, also nice to have a full rear liner and closed toe for those that ski in early spring and late fall in cold climates, nice to have warm feet.
  9. Picture of the In Tow Cross Bar. Any opinions on how effective it is?
  10. @MarcusBrown @savaiusini or anyone else at HO. With the new design that allows more toe room for the rear boot it is now possible to run double hardshells?
  11. Hope HO makes more than just the 67"..., looks like a great ski!
  12. Second the Carbon Omni, you will love it for your conditions.
  13. Moving weights around gets old, the ballast system is the best which gives the driver the option adjust anytime. If you throw in 50 or 100 lbs and get to the end and realize you want to move the weight the driver needs to get up in the middle of someones set and move things around, with the pump it is quick and simple.
  14. @NorCalRec get yourself a HO Omni and you will get right up with its wider tail. The Omni is a very capable ski in the course that turns like a regular ski even with the wider tail due to the clean edge technology.
  15. Not sure but if I was in men's 7 I would be on a Syndicate Omni. The Omni is a very easy ski to get up on, fast and efficient, very capable shortline ski.
  16. Looking forward to what the amazing ski designers at HO have come up with for 2021! Link to the HO Instagram account, they are saying two new Syndicate ski shapes for 2021.
  17. To start work on getting into a better slalom rhythm on a 60' foot rope which is 15' off. Watch this video to get a idea of what rhythm you are shooting for a 30 mph. Increase your lean through both wakes with the maximum effort behind the boat then stop leaning after the second wake.
  18. More about Nick Parsons at http://www.iwsfranking.com/skierinfo/info/displayskier.php3?firstname=Nick&lastname=PARSONS&event=slalom In 2010 Nick finished the year at #4 on the Elite ranking list.
  19. @SkiJay has a lot of good information about cold vs warm water in his book. Once thing he mentions that we all need to keep in mind is as water warms and cools the main thing that changes is the viscosity, density change is very minor. Warmer water is less viscous than cold water and therefore has less drag. What fin/boot settings to change as the water warms is above my pay grade and a source a much debate.
  20. @darosman The Radar Lyric is also a great ski but if you have your wife demo it and the Omni you will know for sure. The Omni is the only ski with clean edge technology which reduces drag by 50% and increases acceleration, it is a game changer for a hybrid width crossover shaped ski that is very capable in the course.
  21. @ScottScott not talking about the fill location but the actual location of the fuel tank which is near the center of the boat. :)
  22. The 2021 ProStar looks amazing, they fixed everything that needed fixed and did not jack up the price! Malibu is in trouble with their Response, I truly don't know why anyone would buy a 2021 Malibu Response over this boat. The new Ski Nautique is very nice but too expensive. At this point the only thing I like better about the Ski Nautique is the center located fuel tank which is the best and most logical place for it. Hopefully Malibu is watching/listening and taking notes, we need them to keep making a 3 event ski boat.
  23. She will likely just have to buy a whole new rear boot.
