  1. I will be ordering a bent handle once they are released as well. Looking forward to seeing it online soon.
  2. Given the boat location, colors, and the trailer in the background of one of the pictures I would bet that this is the Texas A&M University Water Ski Club boat. They rotate boats often. I have met a few of the members/officers of the club in the past. Great group of people. They certainly care for their boats and based on what I have seen, the new owner of this boat will be very happy.
  3. @JackQ Exactly! I also have been out of competitive skiing for more than 10 years. I am back to skiing and trying to work my way back to competition status. No way could I tell a difference in a new rope or an old rope, or the stretch of the rope given how little I have skied lately.
  4. It looks like Mastercraft quietly updated their website yesterday with 2022 models. The Prostar page makes reference to the 2022 model year, along with a few pictures that have changed. The starting price appears to have increased around 5% from 2021 up to $78,850. Is anyone aware of any changes in the boat from 2021 to 2022? Has the options list changed at all? 2022 Mastercraft Prostar
  5. Its expensive but this one popped up on facebook of all places. 85 hours. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/3082179285437691/?ref=search&referral_code=marketplace_search&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A731f299c-0807-438d-9303-2feac010606b
  6. I thought I would post a quick update to my exhaust modifications. I have posted on this thread before, but here is the latest update. It has taken a few different versions to get this right. I have trimmed the new 90 degree elbows, and I think this will end up working well. A lake test is next. I will post decibel results after the lake test. I do have a few left over elbows that ended up not working for me. None of these have be cut. If any Ballers could use these please let me know and I will send them your way.
  7. Thought I would bring this up again. Still looking for a pre 2007 Response LXI in the Lake Wales/Cypress Gardens/Lakeland/surrounding area. Please post here or message me if you know of anyone with this boat in that area. Thanks.
  8. @Shortenit I will take it. I will send you a message shortly.
  9. @Horton Do you have any footage you can share that was filmed with the GoPro Hero 8 on the Ski Doc orbital? I am curious how good the stabilization is. What frame rate are you shooting at? Are you using a wide or narrow filed of view?
  10. Hello everyone. I am hoping to have Skip Dunlap make me a new waterline cover for my 2006 Response LXI. Skip has the pattern for the 2007 (revised windshield) and later Response LXI's but he does not have dimensions for the pre 2007 boat. Does anyone in the Lake Wales/Cypress Gardens/Lakeland/surrounding area have a pre 2007 Response LXI that Skip can use as a template boat? Thanks everyone
  11. Does anyone here have access to the 2021 Prostar order form/options list? I believe there was a way to access it on the Mastercraft website previously, but I cannot find it any longer.
  12. This 200 trailer was just posted today on Ski-It-Again. It is located in Florida. https://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Trailer&postid=58560
  13. So I have been working on a solution for my Malibu Response LXI. I have made a couple of post here on this thread about it. Back on page 3 I showed that the 45 degree bend didn't seem like it was going to work very well on my setup. I ordered a set of cheap eBay 90 degree elbows. Unfortunately the "leg length" was not long enough to cover up the long extended straight exhaust fittings that exits the hull. I have attached a couple pictures to show this. I ended up ordering another set of 90 degree bend elbows but with longer "leg lengths". This seems to be perfect, but as you can see the elbow now hangs below the bottom of the hull. I am struggling to decide where to cut the new 90 degree elbows. I saw on a previous post that some one suggested 1/4" above the bottom of the hull. Is this my best option? I really want to do this correctly one time since these were quite a bit more expensive than the eBay version I tried first. Thanks for the input.
  14. @APB Did you notice a difference removing the wedge all together? Can you explain a little more?
  15. @bwoody Here are a few on craigslist for sale. Maybe someone here would be willing to ship it to you.
