  1. Can the speed parameters on the 3 event version go as low as 8mph like the WakeS advertises? I'd rather have the 3 event but if it's limited to standard skiing speeds I'll have to go with WakeS.
  2. Honestly I'm surprised it took this long for someone to scoop him up. He's been the face of water skiing for 3 or 4 years now and has by far the biggest online presence.
  3. Waiting on mine from Tower now. Ordered a little over a month ago. They'll send you an order form to fill out with dimensions of your boat and make it to your liking.
  4. Loved hearing Joel mention this video on his interview with Matteo...have watched this more than any other video on YouTube:
  5. 4 straps but the current location for the stap down point is behind the pylon, any real turns bring the handle well into the strap of the bimini so I'll have to move those as well. If it is just as simple as cutting the 2 sides equally then that should be step one. Never riveted anything before but my uncle was a machinist so I'm sure that would be a cake walk for him. I was worried it would look even goofier and be less functional if I just started hacking away.
  6. The boats previous owner put a bimini that is 60" above the floor...it looks goofy, provides minimal shade and flaps non stop in the wind. I searched for answers on here and saw tower bimini listed as an option but I can't find the anywhere on their website to place an order for this or a related model boat. Has anyone had any luck ordering aftermarket bimini tops for their 1995-97 prostars? I know my boat is the same hull so any of those covers would work. The cockpit gets well over 100° down here in the middle of summer. I can handle it but my fiancee and her friends not so much so I'd like to try to get a bettee fitting bimini. Final option would be to try and cut mine down and drill and rivet the ends back on but I'd rather buy one and save myself the headache. Sorry if this has been discussed 100s of times on here
  7. All the .5s 1s and 1.5s didn't do much to convince me anyone would ever run 43 but if he can get 3, sure makes it seem like it is possible to take it downtown.
  8. I hope I don't get any backlash for asking...does the offcourse have its own GPS system for speed? I ski behind a 98 sportstar with no speed control other than the driver
  9. Undoubtedly one of the best drivers in the sport but he was an DEA agent first and foremost. He broke the law multiple times and tried to cover it up...10 years is certainly a heavy term but federal agents are held to a higher standard and it seems like he's being made an example of what happens when they abuse their power. I do truly feel for the Scott family
  10. Yup twbc crew updating saying they're aware of the issue. Sucks but I'll never be mad at those guys for the great work they do
  11. Quad and thigh stretches both raised and bending over at the waist. Arm swings, make wide circles both directions to warm up my shoulders. Hopefully there's a handle on a post somewhere to lean on, jog about 100 yards a few times and then I jump in before I suit up so my first time dealing with the temp change isn't when the boat is dragging me down the lake. I wish Rossi or Finlayson would discuss their pre tournament set warmup but they keep it a secret, at least on their podcast.
  12. This is exactly what the sport needs. Between having one place to go for all tour info and having TWBC provide HD coverage...good things coming. Now we need some big league sponsors on board, some Red Bull or Monster money would be a godsend
