  1. For ease of getting up and low stress while up, it is excellent. I have taught many folks how to "deep water start" using one. Now, if you want to carve, look somewhere else. For getting up and cruising at 20-24 MPH, perfect.
  2. Anyone ever had an assembly tick? My new model 200 started ticking when put in gear (forward or reverse). The ticking is roughly 120 times a minute and does not change based upon RPMs. Everything, except for the ticking, works fine.
  3. @75Tique no disrespect, but that is not accurate. The effect of the bill, which did not pass, was no surfing within 200 feet of shore and coves of a width less than 400. "beachgrit.com" is wrong.
  4. I run 50lb sack in the very tip of the bow. Boat is great no matter where people are seated. Love it.
  5. Webcast was excellent. Good looking Nautique tow boat.
  6. I have the same boat (without stereo). If you find a workable and affordable solution, please share.
  7. There is a lot of research supporting the idea that the human mind poorly grasps and improperly evaluates risk extending beyond the personal scale or involving timelines longer than the average lifetime. This makes sense from an evolutionary fitness perspective. I'll take an electric 196 please.
  8. Everybody wants to be so cute. My suggestion is the "plain" HO Omni. It is the ski you are asking for and offers a higher ceiling if they decide to progress. Checkout this package at Perf Ski and Surf: https://www.perfski.com/ski/slaloms/slalom-ski-packages/2021-ho-omni-with-freemax-and-art.html Get the 67.
  9. . . . more interesting than hearing a bunch of old men complaining because they have to take a sexual harassment course.
  10. I've owned a GS22, and now a 200. The GS is good for freeskiing. Its an amazing boat for what it is (flexibility, great surf wave). However, the GS is not suitable for the course. The wakes and tracking would make life miserable for you, in my opinion. Feel free to DM, if you want to further discuss.
  11. I have not seen Joel on the interwebs in a while. I hope he is well.
  12. I have a freemax mens 7-11 (direct connect) sitting around, brand new. Happy to donate. Shoot me a PM.
  13. In my humble opinion, the tongue of stance boots is too stiff. It makes them fit too tight for a safe release, based on recommended sizing. I run mine with the top drawstring on only the top two "eyes" and as loose as possible. I also run the lower lacing as loose as possible. As @blagrata mentioned, the sizing and fit of the xmax and stance are totally different.
  14. @BlueSki SIA is great. I wish the admins had a way to force sellers to take a post down as soon as the listed property is sold. As you note, most of the boats listed are likely sold, and were sold weeks ago.
  15. Sorry for the second steering cable related discussion. I have a Nautique 200 with 500 hours. When steering to the right and moving back to center the cable/steering gives a slight pop, that can only be felt, not heard. Not overly harsh, but it is noticeable. Do I need a new steering cable, just grease, anything else? Please let me know. ps. I figured many on here have dealt with a similar issue. Thank you greatly in advance. Also, this boat is a 2019 (Bryant) 200, but I doubt that makes any difference with this issue.
  16. I use an iphone 12 mini rear camera and quality is excellent. Using ski-doc Orbit on 200 and 196. Sounds like mileage may vary.
  17. I purchased a Nautique club boat earlier this year. For those interested, 540 total hours. 341 hours at 700RPM or lower. 38 hours over 1800RPM. 79 hours over 2500RPM. 74 hours over 3500RPM. 5 hours over 4500RPM. Had the boat inspected for warranty transfer. No issues, including with a compression test.
  18. Listened to your interview on the Waterski Podcast the other day. Appreciate what you do and wish you more success. Roll tide!
  19. @OscawanaSkier That is with a 12 mini. I do not know which of the other 12 lineup shares a camera setup with the mini. I used it this past weekend on a new 200. Worked perfectly (in not great water).
  20. @Wish Yes, that's using the main camera. I cannot speak for all circumstances, but for me it is excellent. Quality, stability, etc. That's been on a Ski Doc set up on a 196.
  21. I had a lot of vibration with an iphone 8. Upgraded to iphone 12 and the image is perfect. Just a thought. (I do not work for Apple).
  22. I disagree. As someone in the market, until recently, I would have given that boat a close look, at that price. Something is worth what another is willing to pay. Clean boat, cool history, open bow 200.
