  1. For sure it’s worth it, if the plug broke during removal and it hasn’t been run since I’d probably just pull the head and clean that cylinder out. Could be out skiing behind it in a day if your mechanically inclined and that’s all that’s wrong with it. Then redo it in the winter once you know what’s all in need of being repaired.
  2. Tennis elbow, lower back, mild hamstring and Alberta premium
  3. My boat has a Sampson swivel rack on it, works well for 2 skis I’d recommend it, seems to be a good piece
  4. I went from a 2015 concept to a senate alloy 2 years ago and it didn’t help me one bit, getting the same bouys. I guess that means that I have other problems and the ski wasn’t the limiting factor. I have played with the settings on the senate a bit and it’s a good ski but not game changing in any way for me. It is wider so a little easier to get up on but that wasn’t a big problem. Anyway one thing about the radar is the vector boot is falling apart, not impressed with it, I generally ski 20-30 times a year and would like my ski boot to last more than a year and a half. Needless to say I am looking for a new ski and boot combo from a different manufacture. I have looked around and I’m not the only person who has had this problem it sounds pretty common.
  5. The Mastercraft just had Mastercraft cruise, so big difference for sure, Haven't skiied it yet , can’t wait but it won’t be today, it’s the opener for elk season here and I have to go try to find one after work.
  6. So no good pictures yet but here it is... didn’t get home in time to dump it in the lake, one picture of the new girl with the old girl
  7. Apb- it was the one listed on Kijiji in sask. The Mastercraft just got listed today. I’m just heading out to pick it up. Pictures to follow...
  8. Both boats were nice but the Malibu had a lot more options including the zero off so Ended up going with the lxi hopefully the weather holds for a bit here and I can get some time behind it.
  9. The lxi has Zero off, manual wedge, swivel Racks, hot water shower and bimini looking good for the lxi
  10. He says the Mac has the bigger motor he says a 330hp 350 instead of the 310, I didn’t know they had 2 different 350s just on my way to look at them both
  11. Also looking at a 2011 197 with the 6.0 but assuming it would have the same wake as the 05?
  12. I am looking at a couple of used boats, just sold my nautique 216 and am looking at the two noted above, both open bow both have a tower both with the 350. Which one has a better slalom wake. I am mostly 32 mph 15/22 off. The old nautique had a bad bump at 22 off and am hoping to get a better slalom wake at those longer line lengths. Would either be a noticeable improvement over the 216?
  13. I have a 2006 nautique 216 with the 330 hp 5.7 in it it has an acme 422 prop. Right now the boat is good out of hole for slalom and tops out at 43mph at 4800 rpm. It does 41-42 mph at 4200rpm so not getting much out of the last 600 rpm. The acceleration in the upper range isn’t great and I am wondering if I went to a 668 prop which has the same diameter and pitch but .150 cup vs the .105 cup on the 422 if I would pick up some top speed and maybe some better acceleration in the top end and not lose much down low?
