  1. Ill start by saying Myself, my dad and my uncle are all beginner course skiers, doing 30mph and 15 off. We each decided to buy a ski, and together we have HO Carbon Omni Radar Senate Graphite Connelly Carbon V I had been skiing on the Omni, and found that I could not slow the ski down (my line would go slack every time). Because of this I could never get around 1 ball to get to 2 ball. I then tried the Connelly Carbon V, and found that I was better across the wake and slowing down and was able to get around the bouys. I have heard great things about the Omni but it just did not work for me, because no matter how well it turned, I could not slow the ski down to make the turn without the line going slack. we have all of the skis set up per factory specs and I tried moving my bindings forward. Has anyone else had a similar problem with the omni? and were you able to fix that issue by adjusting the fin? We also all like the radar. Any advice is appreciated on the ski setups.
  2. Hey, 22 year old brand new skier (gone about 10 times). I am around 170 pounds and am on a Carbon Omni, and my dad bought a Radar Senate graphite. I have skied on both and love my carbon omni. I would recommend that to everyone. Its the 67 length, I also have not gone through the course successfully (ive gotten 2 at 30 mph and 15 off).
  3. I am new to skiing and just bought an HO Carbon Omni. My next step is to pick bindings. I am leaning towards a D3 T-factor front boot with a RTP. What are your suggestions?
  4. I am a 22 year old who just picked up slalom skiing this past summer. Within two days I was able to get 1.5 balls at 30mph so I see myself progressing. I want to buy myself a new ski for this upcoming summer as I plan to ski a lot. However I don't know much about the different brands as my family has been out of skiing for around fifteen years now and are just getting back into it. I think the Denali C75 is a very cool ski but I am open to suggestions on where to start brand wise as well as skis that you think would be beginner/intermediate friendly. I dont want to buy to much of a ski, but also do not want to buy a ski that I will quickly grow out of skill wise. Thanks!
