Somebody stole my boat.
My ‘07 is nearly identical.

Not a word here about Pato and Joel hitting over 12 and Erica hitting over 11. Much more fun to watch than slalom. 🙂

Nice find. Put some weight in it and you’ll have a great trick boat.

Again, thanks for all the advice. For reasons I won’t delve into I’ve gone full freight and replaced it with a new PCM unit. Works like a charm. Belt nice and tight.

All it takes is money. Sigh.

Borrowed a multimeter. The alternator is only pushing 11.9. Time for a new one. Thanks for the input.

Need some advice. I’ve had trouble keeping a charge on the battery in a 2007 196. After six or seven sets one day the battery would be weak then die altogether. Replaced the battery a couple of weeks ago now the same thing is happening. I always keep the switch on the full off position when the boat is not in use.

All those stepovers. Those were the days.

It’s a wonder that microbus could pull that boat out of the water. Rated towing capacity of zilch.
Liked the gnarly rope.

Strange that a podcast about the greatest trick event the world has ever seen somehow becomes a discussion about slalom. Just saying…

Congrats Joel and Erica. Incredible tricking.

It’s only the first round and it’s already the best trick event in history.

Charcoal lighter works well, at least for small stains.

Trolling for sharks with live bait. EP makes a nice toothpick.

I say customs. There was some sort of fee involved that apparently could have been avoided.
-
Be sure to check customs implications. I sold a ski to a guy in Canada and shipped it UPS as I always do. Turns out he had to pay a significant customs charge that he would not have had to pay if I had shipped it by US Mail.

@thagerThose are friggin classic.

What a hoot. I image that it also comes with its own zippered kit bag.
My late grandfather claimed that he and two partners owned the patent for the original Dewalt woodworking machine in Lancaster, PA. One of the partners sold the rights to another company and skipped town causing the other partner to commit suicide. It took my grandfather years of work to dig the partnership out of debt.
I sometimes wonder how things might have turned out if he had been able to retain the rights …

Way cool. Homage to Cypress Gardens in another town. Somebody in Winter Haven missed the boat.

By the way…do the ibuprofen or the whiskey but don’t combine them. That will make you old before your time.

I’m 71 and tricking as well or better than when I was younger. I remember my orthopedist laughing when he came into the exam room and saw me for the first time. “Here’s an old guy that thinks he’s a teenager,” he said. Exactly the point.

@wettek69My thoughts exactly. Although CC would probably not pursue legal action on a one-off item, it’s still probably a technical violation of copyright or trademark law.
Wind protection options for a ski lake?

Check with an arborist at your state’s land grant university Cooperative Extension Service. Free expert advice.
BTW, be careful of planting on mounds. Mounds tend to dry out quickly and will probably need a lot more irrigation.
