  3. Not sure who built this but it looks like a big improvement. It was a little buggy when I played with it but I would expect that from any new web data project. Below is a link to the Masters Qualifying # 1 event starting this week. https://scores.waterskiresults.com/Tournament?SN= 24S339&SY=0&TN=Masters Qualifying Series I

  7. @jpwhit there's a lot of speculation that if Tommy's inventory have to get discounted to straighten out the whole mess, it would certainly disrupt the market. To be clear that is just speculation
  8. @switchbackr I have heard nothing but good things about the current skis from D3. If you are interested I suggest that you contact www.PerfSki.com and try one out. I have a more than amicable relationship with the management at D3 although they are not a business partner. Review skis generally come from business partners or emerging ski companies. @VONMAN ski reviews take time and the long-standing policy is to review the skis in the order they physically arrive at my door.
  9. @chaloux There is the 5 year chart. You can draw any number of conclusions.
  10. @Drago Sorry I was not 100% paying attention. What @NoahVieke said and https://www.masterswaterski.com/news/2024-masters-water-ski-criteria
  11. @unksskis don't get me started. If I could find a way to bet on this stuff without worrying about breaking the law I would be all over it. (I'm way too cute for prison)
  12. The next 2 weekends is Masters Qualifying. You may or may not love the format but will be drama. ( no webcast) With some luck we will get live results at https://www.iwwfed-ea.org/classic/ The official qualifying criteria is here https://www.masterswaterski.com/news/2024-masters-water-ski-criteria A few thoughts on slalom. For men's slalom Fred and Nate are in and there are 6 spots left. Who is going to get the ticket? For women's slalom Regina and Jaimeee and there are 6 spots left. Who is going to get the ticket? I hear there is some jump and tricks too 🙂 Below is text lifted from the Masters web site. 15. Don’t lose focus on the reason for your skiing, the boys breakdown how crucial it is to ski with meaning.
  16. @Interjon Yes I think so. Without a national organization the sport would lack any structure and would unravel faster. The personal value of your membership is questionable ( if you do not compete) but if more skiers joined it grants the organization the chance to do good for the sport.
  17. I removed a thread about a legal issue involving Kyle Tate. After a lot of thought and a few phone calls I decided that this thread was not about water skiing and the conversation would be a detriment to the sport. If something changes and this becomes a water ski story I will reconsider allowing it here in the forum.
  18. @UWSkier what you say above would make sense in a sane world but the guys who who run the shortest line lengths are often the ones that are the pickiest about the exact right amount of stretch.
  19. Participation in the tournament skiing has gone down dramatically in the last 50 years. USAWS may have been mismanaged the whole time but USAWS leadership is not the one of the top 5 reasons for the decline of the competitive sport.
