  1. Just send it to Eric for a few days. He will sand it down to how ever you like it.
  2. I think if this poll is taken in 2004, it looks 100% backwards. I did not know many 1 handers in 04, but now it is the only thing taught unless you go to Lucky.
  3. If you go, I will go. Its the trip to Witchita for 1 set at regionals that I do not want to make. ÂÂÂÂ
  4. That may be worth the trip alone. a few more days in that soup and I will have it down. I need to do some tweaken.
  5. Minnesota springs suck for wind. I have been working on dawgs gate since I saw him blow out at 1 ball on the first ride of the 06 tests. But really, I have been trying to copy it since then, but I guess it makes more sense now that he explained it. I will work on it all week and see what happens.   ÂÂÂÂ
  6. Those 106 carbon blades are the key to more balls on the Monza. I need one for my wifes ski. I may fire up my nationals desire if you keep ribbing me. If I have to, I will come out and practice for a week just to get used to that strange water in California, and then kick you around. If I do go to nats, its only to get some fish tacos and a Length Wise Ale.
  7. I am addicted to orange balls. I will ski anywhere and anytime. I have been on a Monza since 2004. I am a loyal HO Monza guy but if I slump bad and ride somthing else that feels good, I will dump it like a bad habit. So far that has not happened. Free skied from 13 -35 when I got a accu float and started to ski the course. Started to compete at 36 in INT. Minn CC promo member with a 2007 196 for sale. ÂÂÂÂ
  8. I like it till 38. I am bringing to much zaz. I think it will work, but I need to get off it sooner. I need some warm water and air. Flippen 80 billion mph out of the south for 5 days.    ÂÂÂÂ
  9. They must because I have black paint all over my platform. ÂÂÂÂ
  10. I think Wim is much like Chet and David Miller. They are just mega efficent and every move looks so fluid. You can tell that those 3 have spent some time on the water together.  ÂÂÂÂ
  11. I like what the dawg does. He looks like he almost overexagerates the handle out front. Almost like he is punching someone in the face. I think the counter really helps get the ski moving to the gates. I try to do what he does, but I always end up with to much speed. I need to get off it quicker.  ÂÂÂÂ
  12. Watch Rossi and Natilie on the edged in water DVD. Carly is also the master. It would be nice to watch these guys over and over and then do it. I just try to vision the smoothness they have and try to do the same thing. ÂÂÂÂ
  13. A 66.5 would be nice. I would also like to see a shorter 2 point. That 67.5 is just too much ski.
  14. 80 grit is pretty tough on plaster Eric. You need to go easy and wear eye protection. In your case a jig saw comes in handy also.
  15. I use a very small amount of soft scrub on a paper towel. Do not rub hard. Rinse off and ski. Wash with dish soap every now and then. Wash more if you are using a teak platform that has been redone. Lots of build up on the ski from that.
  16. Good reading until I realized its from 2005. He is pictured on the Radar, but the interview is from right after he signed with HO. ÂÂÂÂ
  17. I was running the 67s side by side with the same set ups. (stock fin). I ended up liking the stiffer ski. Last weekend I added the 106 carbon Fin. WOW is all I can say. If you are riding the Monza, you have to try one of Hortons 106 blades. I liked it on my 06, but with the stiffer ski, it really carries from the wake out to the ball nice. ÂÂÂÂ
  18. 3 Monzas. I am on the 07 and the 06 went to Lago to some lucky skier. The 66 was to short.
  19. The HO kit is pretty good. It comes in half sizes which is great. I saw one this weekend. If you buy a Fish, they throw in a nice set with there ski. ÂÂÂÂ
  20. How bout we get some kinis up on the pic board.
