We need a senior judge to be appointed by the chief judge ( who of course cant actually judge anything because he is monitoring all the other judges), who is responsible to operate the automated camera system that will be a on gimble to allow full view of all docks to ensure proper handle guards are in place and are not removed before or after a ski set. The handle guard judge will be monitoring the handle guard display that will be at a minimum for 50 inches and of 4K HD quality. The recorded video will be sent to Paris France for all L class events to be stored in a climate controlled vault for a minimum of 10 years for forensic review.

Eliminate the regionals requirement then lets just have Nationals in a central area to maximize the number of folks who can drive to it, sure some folks will be scared and wont come, Just run the tournament based on the number of folks who sign up. You can run the event with 50 or 100 skiers. Just get rid of the free hotel rooms, and use local and volunteer judges and drivers.

Break out the jumpers, the name of the sport is 3 event waterskiing

@keithh2oskier just the bag, my son has a fin protector. My truck has a softpad in the bed, not had a problem

I got two one for my son and I. We have been very happy with them. It does not have any interior pockets, which would be nice but overall we like it because it holds everything, even a wet suit if you need one. the straps allow you to carry it over your shoulder which is nice. we use it for daily to the lake and back but it is not a travel bag.

The issue about insurance came up on the "can we have tournaments" thread so I thought we could start a new one about insurance. Can someone explain exactly what the USAWS insurance gets us. Us meaning the skier and or the host club? My one exposure was when I got hurt at a tournament I filed a claim but it was of no value to me as it only applied as a secondary insurance and had a large deductable. Sorry if I am too lazy to go read the policy, but seriously who does that?
