  1. I pulled a couple short line 36'ers this weekend and had no issues whatsoever. Tracking is perfect and IMHO, as good as a friends CC200. Both skiers (one skies OM 110) had great things to say about this boat!
  2. @markchilcutt‌ Suggest you call Aarne Clow at MasterCraft for the best insight on this. Maybe Marcus Brown can post something? Our lake is only at 1850 feet elevation and my new ProStar is a 5.7L. I pulled a couple short line 36'ers this weekend and had no issues. Both skiers had great things to say about this boat!
  3. @Razorskier1‌ Great looking ProStar ! Congrats
  4. emailing Paul @ FM work well. pjager@telus.net
  5. Better to leave the ski at stock and work on tuning you.
  6. @colo_skier‌ George Kastansa "shrinkage!"
  7. @markchilcutt‌ That is really depending on your altitude and how short your course setup is. MC can best guide your selection. If the necessary selection is outside what MC has AWSA approval on, an exception can be requested from your local Chief Judge. I know the 6.2L motor is recommended at high (5,000' ?) altitude and for WR Jumpers like Freddie K. Not really sure if a different prop is approved just for altitude.
  8. @‌Matt I don't wear the Eric Lee specials, mine are actually O'Neill Surf shorts.
  9. Rash guard and a speedo to ease entry and so I can peel it off at the dock without scaring the wildlife.
  10. @Phil An R&L tournament requires the AWSA approved prop. Factory prop is 13.25 x14.5 4 blade OJ and this 5.7L has plenty of power. This is a pic of my 2014 ProStar going down the assembly line. MC does test every boat they make. MC has a slalom course on the lake to check Zero off as well as run it through its paces using the customers prop. They sometimes remove the customers prop for transport so it doesn't get bent or stolen. The dealers then put it back on. There is a chance the dealer received several different boats on their shipment from MC and somehow mixed them up. If the boat was used at a Boat Show, often all the running gear is removed so the boats can be lower while on display, a mix up on the prop could result. I can tell you from first hand experience, the MC factory workers take tremendous pride in their work and the boat is Q.C.'d at every assembly station before it is released to move down the line.

  13. Miami Ski Nautique - Call and ask for Miguel
  14. The mirrors are both PTM, the MC is the billet version, the vr140 Elite. The MC mirror also comes with the billet bracket. You can buy both from PTM if you want. The IP700 is if you want the sub and amps, my RA sound pretty good unless you really want to crank it.
  15. @Razorskier1 Please post some pictures when you can!
  16. D3 had been the gold standard but lots of good talk about the new Radar trick ski. Use the D3 length/weight chart and lean to the bigger size if you're in the middle.
  17. Supporting your local Promo boat owner is the best way to go.
  18. Ok, My new ProStar is on Cheyenne Lake in Newberry Springs and ready for demo days. Please let me know if you're interested in skiing or driving this beauty!
  19. Mecca Lakes is Eric's or Sunset Ranch Oasis, both are in the same area.
  20. @Horton Can I get 4 coins for the last 4 BOS Tee Shirts I bought? Two of them were for Bubble's, she wears them to school and everyone asks her what Ballofspray means.
  21. There may be a membership available at the Quarry Ski Club in Corona, CA. Check with @baja on this site.
