  1. "I'm riding the MPD as well, Don't think I need any more angle (can't hold what I get now) Have you got the 116 Redim? " I like what the 116 Redim did for my 67"MPD. Just like John had posted in his review of the MPD. I have the Schnitz mini wing on mine @ 8 degrees and am using John's numbers. As I recall, you were asking about the 116 several months ago, right? Suggest you buy one and try it, I think you like it. Use John's numbers and you will not have a problem holding on to the angle any more. The fin and John's numbers really helps the ski finish the turn smoothly and cross course very early. Also, starting to play around with the new 2008 Monza (only 2 sets on it) which has the 106 on it, great combo. WOW, what a ski!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Keep your eyes on this new ski for HO, different ski than the 2007
  2. Mine works well with John's numbers.
  3. "Is anybody running less than the factory amount of velcro on double powershells? I just started using them 2 weeks ago and have taken three hard falls w/o a release. " I run a lot more than factory and do not want mine to release unless I OTF. I've have several hard falls and have not felt any discomfort in the knee or ankle area. I run two 1" strips down each edge for the front foot, full width front for the first five inches, then full width 6" in the tail.
  4. These sound almost like the stock gold fin numbers. Did you tell Eddie you are on the ReDim?
  5. John,  Not sure I can tell the difference in plates. My new one does have a visible carbon layer but not sure how it's constructed underneath. It's about .015 thinner than my Goode plate. Does feel more flexible. You know carbon way better than me, what makes the Reflex plate "too flexable for use with Dual Lock" Thx., CD PS: When you put your Wileys on a Goode plate and Dual Lock it down, are you expecting the plate to release before you come out of the rubber, or vice versa ?
  6. John, Have you seen the Reflex long plate? I have one which is just slightly thinner than my G-10 Goode. I bought it and the Reflex boots to make my own setup, kind of a mix of Goode design and their hardware and Reflex shells and plate. Due to their adjustability, my Goode Powershell-4's are always slipping off centerline requiring me to loosen the screws and re-center and re-tighten. The Powershell-3's were not adjustable, but you couldn't cant the rear either. So I'm going to try and marry the two designs, fixed but with my boot spacing and rear canting. Since the Reflex plate is slightly thinner, do you think there are any strength concerns?
  7. I think this is why John is putting his rubber boots on a Goode plate. This way he can try the Warp7 ????
  8. I bought some from I-tape and another place called Fastenation and from both places the product was coiled too tight/small causing the liner tape to pucker, looked coougated, which allowed air to dry the adhesive on about 50% of the tape. Waste of time to send it back, I-tape replaced it. Since then, I buy the 250 black on black from Schnitz. Good price and delivery and I like the idea we are keeping money within the skiing community. I usually buy 20 yards at a pop. I replace it 2 to 3 times a season. Also, use Schnitzer's removal method.
  9. I see the 170 to 250, 250 to 400 250 to loop but do not see the rating for 250 to 250. Someone please help this blind man see? Interesting to read the attachment techniques. 24 to 72 hours before use or disengagement! I press it down with my thumb and ski fairly soon. Never had the glue fail and only unexpected releases were because I did not get it reengaged properly after an expected release.
  10. John,  Still no email from you. Have you heard from Mattias yet?  Chuck Dickey
  11. John,  Is that why your Nat's finals weren't spectacular? Chuck PS: Still waiting on your answer to my email about my 116 ReDim!
  12. Put in your own inserts or go with Goode Powershell's. I am on an MPD with Powershells and have used them 3 different Goode's and on 3 different year Monza's. If you want to stick with rubber boots, screw them both to a single plate and Dual Lock the plate full width and length to the ski using Dual Lock 400. If you crash hard enough, you'll come out of the rubber boots well before the Dual Lock releases. Reflexbond has attachable studs you can put any where. >> http://www.reflexworld.com/2006/BONDING/reflexbondslalomstick.htm
  13. 68" MPD  Stock front = 29.75" Rear = Rossi recommended 17.50" Gold Fin = Eddie Roberts recommends 6.850 L 2.500 D .79 DTF I have gone with a 67" and let my friend ride my 68" this AM and he would not give it back. He runs a Connelly Draft front and a KD rear. I have a 68" Jobe MPD I loaned to another friend and he loves the ski.
  14. John,  Saw your picture from Regionals holding the Sixam, thought you were going MPD ? Chuck
