No, you must be missing some of the rubber. Mine are fully supported except very close to where the holes are. The stand-off washers help keep the plate stay level as the screws are tightened. I put a couple thin washers under the plates middle screws to simulate the thickness of the standoff washers used in the front and rear. Looking at the edge, my plate is perfectly flat.
175lbs @ 34 Ski performed OK, but talking to Eddie, I may not have had the ideal set up before going for the 66". If you're interested, check in with Eddie to make sure it's the optimal size for your stats.  Let me know quick if you want it. It's priced to move.
Depending on how much lift you want, you can shim up the rear plate with a small stack of washers between the plate and ski. If you put a lift in the boot, it will make it feel tighter over the instep (arch) of your foot. This may make it harder to slip out in a fall when your Reflex releases. You may need a new wrap so you can fit it looser. Call Darin Wiley and ask his advice. If you have room in the binder, you can insert a Superfeet green insole. It has a bit over a 1/4" heel cup lift.
Hi Chris, I am coming off an A-1. PB 5@28 on the A-1. Really good offside turner. I'm trying a 67" Strada, 180#, 34mph Settings are 2.50, 6.850, 0.757, 9 degree Size 9 Strada boots LFF @ 29.5" to rear of front boot. Good pull out to a one handed gate, good turn in through the gates, great one ball, way early to two ball, then coming out of two ball pointed right at 3 ball. Do you think technique or settings? Should I go forward with my front boot 1/8" or add a bit more tip. 6.85XX ?  I know, hard to tell w/o video, but what's your best guess?
OK John, It's now May 1st, have you pcked a winner? Please be me, Please be me, Please be me, Please be me, Please be me, Please be me, Please be me, Please be me, Please be me, Please be me, Please be me, Please be me!
Did I win them yet? Did anyone win them yet? I have an A-1 and they slap right on.  BTW - I spoke with an HO dealer and he said HO has a hold on them right now and will re-release mid May, minor redesign? HO is also requiring the dealer set them up and a waiver be signed by the skier. Anyone else heard this? PRODUCT UPDATE: We received the first batch of Exo Pros in late March. Upon trying them on and going through them, we have chosen to wait for HO to make some minor improvements on them. We have since tried on the updated boots from their R & D crew and are confident they have addressed the concerns for fit and comfort we were concerned about. We apologize for the delay in getting these boots out to our customers, but we also respect our customers enough to make sure to test and ensure the fit and comfort of new products not only meets...but exceeds our standards. We hope to see the updated version of the Exo boots in late April / Early May.  Bill Porter...founder. Ed,  It does feel a little different for the first couple sets but then you'll never look back! H2Oz will let you ride before you buy, give Tadd a call. I'll bet Horton has a pair to demo.
I have a US Gear handle with an Arm Guard! Talk about stiff! Dock starters have caught on to OF's second demo'd method and the handle has a large loop so it works well. PS: Thanks TW for Arm Guard! I hit the mech panel with my fist the other day during a slack line fall. I'm sure my arm would have gone through the V had I not had the Arm Guard! It just bounced off the mech just as the rope went tight and jerked it away.
Yes, it is. You get all the support and all the edge control you need with the cords just barely snug. Just remember not to tighten the bungy cord too tightly, it is designed to flex and extend to allow the liner to slip out in a fall. Your foot stays in the liner and the liner comes out of the shell during a fall.
Ski, bag, sock and JTH autographed carbon fin. Standard gold fin included. http://cgi.ebay.com/Radar-MPD-67-blank_W0QQitemZ300380222721QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item45f00e7501 Inserts are very slightly off center towards the left. I used Goode's and then RS-1 boots and ski worked great either way.
I run the RS-1's and when I wore Powershells, at 12.25" ankle to ankle, rear pivot max. Too wide and it hurt my rear knee. Can't really get much closer together. Size 9 LFF.
