  1. This is the Quarry Ski Club in Corona, CA. Members and guests site. I'm a member here. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Mecca,+CA&mrt=all&sll=33.479492,-115.829952&sspn=0.000803,0.003082&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Mecca,+Riverside,+California&ll=33.536458,-116.056888&spn=0.006421,0.024655&t=h&z=16 This is Sunset Ski Ranch Oasis in Mecca, CA. not far from Palm Springs, CA. In the middle of the picture, our lakes are horizontal, East/West. Top one is a rental lake, lower is a member lake. One of Eric Lee's places is lower right and a abandoned lake at Adohr Farms is lower left (with turn islands) http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Mecca,+CA&mrt=all&sll=33.479492,-115.829952&sspn=0.000803,0.003082&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Mecca,+Riverside,+California&ll=33.536458,-116.056888&spn=0.006421,0.024655&t=h&z=16
  2. For me, the RS-1 liners mold better than the Strada's. Strada's are thinner and worked better for me w/o molding. Superfeet greens in the liner is the way to go!
  3. If you can't make it to the gym, hook your ski handle to something and work on your lean. You can work your arms and legs this way. Get a mirror so you can see to get yourself in the right body position.
  4. I want to buy a 2010 or 2011 promo boat, MC or CC this year. Problem is, I have to sell my 2003 PS-197. Anyone out there looking for this year, beautiful boat in great condition. Make me an offer! http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&postid=13749
  5. I'll try this again <iframe width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?t=h&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=33.53585,-116.059495&spn=0.007718,0.013797&z=17&output=embed"></iframe><br /><small><a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?t=h&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=33.53585,-116.059495&spn=0.007718,0.013797&z=17&source=embed" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">View Larger Map</a></small>
  6. I believe this is one of Eric's places <iframe width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?t=h&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=33.53585,-116.059495&spn=0.007718,0.013797&z=17&output=embed"></iframe><br /><small><a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?t=h&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=33.53585,-116.059495&spn=0.007718,0.013797&z=17&source=embed" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">View Larger Map</a></small>
  7. Where's Richard and his ice breaker? Happy New Year!
  8. Picked from the HO site. The EXO liners are realy comfortable, I have them in my EXO Pro's. Animal and Approach bindings always killed my foot. EXO's are great! The Alpha’s lean profile minimizes drag on both sides no matter how deep you’re holding you edge. The EXO liner and free floating tongue are encased in a composite textile shell delivering comfort and durability. Dual lace zones provide an easy in and out experience and the ankle support strap allows the skier to adjust their ankle security. Most importantly is the response you feel when skiing the Alpha, we achieved this with a 21cm cuff height. The ski is responding to your thoughts quicker than ever. Alpha $150.00 http://hosports.com/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/Alpha_4ce9c055d747a.png
  9. Like Krista never reads these posts? Respect goes a long way
  10. Great advertizement! She and the new system look great! I think Sully or someone did something like that at HO a few years back.
  11. 1. Trailing arm pressure to help me stay square to the boat during the wake crossing. 2. Head up all the time. I have a bad habit of staring down at the buoys. Head up helps me keep my shoulders more level and helps with my balance.
  12. Ed,  Extra flotation is available and not very much more. They have the ability to add as much as you want and place it where you want. You'll need to call tehm for details. They make USCG vests, http://www.eaglesports.com/eagleMensCoastGuardwakeandskivest.aspx maybe they can morf the two styles. Great folks at Eagle!
  13. 87F air, 56 water, 2 mph wind, beautiful today here in So. Cal.
  14. Eric, You can keep the frozen white stuff for cocktails. Join me at the Quarry, Sunday is looking like 80's. Wouldn't suggest commando, a 3-2mm wet or a Drysuit and rip it up! My new O'Neill Assault Hybrid is a great suit! "Always summer on the inside"
  15. 80F air, 55 water, 6 mph cross wind, 2 nice sets today. Hope tomorrow has lower wind but the report looks the same as today. Hard to trailer the boat and leave when it glassed off at 2:30P but had to go cut down the Christmas tree.
  16. I signed on June 7, 2007, so I'm counting 3 years and 6 months! I have enjoyed every part of it's growth to what it is today. Thank you John for all your efforts keeping this site together.
  17. Maybe just BOS on the back rather than Baller?
  18. Ed, I'll take 2 dozen as soon as they're available.
  19. 6balls,  Looks to me like his hips are open to the boat. Look at his hip angle and look at the direction is front foot is pointing (which IS his direction of travel). It looks to me like there is a lot of rotation. It looks to me as if his mass is a bit off the back edge of the ski. Yes, No ?
  20. I think this pic shows a great skier doing a bit of hanging off the back edge. Will Asher at 41 off, going from one to two ball, RFF Hips are open to the boat somewhat. Knees are bent allowing his rotation. http://lh4.ggpht.com/_4-6ay9R-bLE/TP7vzQE87uI/AAAAAAAAEjc/AOuhZOigZCA/s640/Asher%20MO%2005.jpg
  21. Steve, "Where did you ski today Chuck? And how come we never see you at Canyon?" I am a member and ski at the Quarry in Corona just 20 minutes up I-15. I don't know anyone at Canyon Lake to ski with.
  22. Who is using them and how well do they work and last. I heard they cut easily. I've heard they easily burp when hit and go flat and you had to reinflate them. Any first hand info would be appreciated.
