  1. The new ProStar is a dream at any speed or line length. This one is on Ski-it-again.com SIA28845
  2. @ntx‌ He wrote above; "lhoover Posts: 111 Baller August 11 Flag Thanks for ideas so far, but let me be more specific as to the situation. It has nothing to do with a club boat; rather, each member prepays to use the gas pump for their own boat." If a club boat were used, the inline flow scan or card scan would be my suggestion. I don't think the hour meter on the boat would be fair since boat speed for slalom, trick or jump makes a big difference in fuel consumption.
  3. @Spesh‌ Not that I will ever get there but there come a point where you run out of rope length and even at 90 Degrees up on the boat, it just won't reach buoy line. I'd be curious to hear Nate Smith or Chris Rossi chime in on gate pull out width from their perspective.
  4. Ok, I'm thick! How does the SFE work? What is it actually doing? Is it LFF or RFF or does one size fit all?
  5. @lhoover‌ Our tank is paid from our HOA account to fill it, then each user pays what's logged to the 1/10th gallon. Each user reads the meter prior to use and notates any error. Monthly accounting easily can spot the math error and charge that person the correct amount. So, we confirm the prior entry matches the actual meter reading, dispense and log to the 1/10, then log the aggregate total. All the math works. Our club treasurer add the cost per gallon to the delivery fee and calculates our price per gallon each month. This balances well as fuel costs rise and fall.
  6. Horton, John - Round: 1 1.00 buoys at 23.00M,46kph,Long,28.6mph ?????????
  7. @lhoover We have a 500 gallon tank that has one of these pumps that dispenses and meters the fuel. Our log book is the honor system to a point, we note the fuel dispensed to the 1/10th gallon. The user logs the amount they take and write down the gallons as well as the aggregate gallons dispensed. Each person needs to look at the previous entry and make sure it matches what's on the meter. If there is an error, a notation is made before pumping. Works well for us.
  8. 2014 ProStar was used last year at this event, I believe. Wasn't that their first big event for the new machine? My lake is one of three on site and the one in the middle has always had a weed problem. I'm told it skis better than our clear lake.
  9. I think they fit his personality and his Paleo style. I have wondered what it does to his center of gravity when skiing with wet dreds.
  10. Get the latest update, Throttle back ASAP to let the speed settle. Set the system for the "Light" skier, set your crew weight accurately. Works for us in a '98 196CC
  11. @rockdog‌ This is strictly skier preference in my opinion. If you pick the larger and heat mold it, it will thicken up slightly. If you go with the smaller liner and heat mold it, it will thin out a bit. I went with the smaller to thin it mainly because I use the smaller shell. I'm on the line between shell sizes and prefer the smaller of the two. The Intuition liners are made to be heat molded from a ½ size smaller up to a ½ size larger. Tips: Heat mold extra room in the toe area. Make sure the liner doesn't squish out between the buckles, this will hinder forward flex of your ankle. Try pacificslalom.com for your liners. Steve is a great guy, very knowledgable, very helpful.
  12. 10 pull-ups before each set, 2 set average. I try to hold my knees up while doing them.
  13. Thanks @Razorskier1‌ If you're out this way give me a call.
  14. Set it at the light skier mode, set crew weight and don't hammer it our of the hole or throttle back once the skier is up.
  15. @winston You mentioned they gave you smaller boots that didn't fit? Did they replace just the boots and not the plate? Could be a simple shipping error, not the correct plate for the boots you needed.
  16. @I5boi‌ The Radar guys are the best source to answer those questions. I'm sure they have specific target customers for each and I'd hate to give a potential Radar customer incorrect info. @eddie_roberts_jr‌ , @chrisrossi the Wilson Bros. may comment here. Best thing is to ski each and decide which works best for you.
  17. @winston Short plate or shell too far forward with your "wheelie" and bingo! Should be a couple inches up front and back on the plate or you'll just leverage it apart. As far as the length of the ski is concerned, designs haves hanged so much that my normal 67" ski length in now a Nano One 65.25. Love this ski!
  18. I think I have the following correct. Lithium = all carbon and PVC core Graphite = all carbon and PU core Alloy = carbon and fiberglass blend and PU core Performance matched to your needs, Lithium is the high performance and the other two are dampened down due to core and fiberglass.
  19. @OKSkier‌ I tried the Strada rear and switched to the Reflex R-Style so I could get my feet closer together.
  20. I have mine mounted on a reflex carbon plate and it works great. Once I set it, I have not needed to adjust any further. My setting need it because I am in between standard holes in the plate. I had a new plate sent to the Mikro guru's and they installed it perfectly.
  21. Not many better than Dave Goode! I met Dave at his lake while I was in town for work. They were having a tournament at Goode lake and between Dave and some other skiers, offered to loan me all the gear I needed if I wanted to enter the tournamant. Great guy, great group of local skiers. Unfortunately for me, I had to go back to work. Bought a Nano One and he gave me his cell phone so I could call him and help get my ski dialed in. Called him twice on a weekend, told him what I was feeling in the ski and he gave me a couple changes and bingo! Love my Nano One!
  22. @rodltg2‌ Young people can live in the Palm Springs area, no age restrictions! Canyon can be pricey as well depending on the lot location. There is a membership lake called The Quarry in Corona, CA. if you decide to come to So. Cal but not live at Canyon. The Quarry is about $400.00 per month and a bunch of great folks ski there.
  23. @rodltg2‌ Canyon Lake is a great place to live and ski. Houses on the water are expensive, off the water more affordable. The slalom course is off the main lake, so you have to launch at the ramp near the course. Weather is similar to Sac. Schools are good, shopping close, 1.5 hours to the mountains for skiing, beach or desert activities. Lots of skiers there so weekend skiing can have long waits depending on time of day. Commute can be a bear (2+ hours one way) to Orange County or LA since there is only one primate freeway north to connect to west bound freeways. Same can be said to commute towards San Diego area. All depends on time of day, just like HWY's 50 & 80 in Sac. Not sure where you plan to work, but there is Shadow Lakes in Palm Springs area as well as several lakes in Newberry Springs area. I don't know of any listings at Shadow but there are a couple in the Newberry Springs area. My place in Newberry http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Real_Estate&postid=28772 Great Lakes in Newberry http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Real_Estate&postid=28472
